My Stay At Lel Bel Air Boutique

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Services from the staff, the restaurant, and the hotel drivers
Cons: The entrance to the hotel
Location: The location was ideal.
My experience for the most part was most enjoyable at the Le Bel Air Boutique. I attribute most of my compliments too the friendliness of the staff whom I found to be most helpful, kind and and helpful.A million thanks to Mr. John Paul, the manager and a receptionist named Mr.Thom. The services from the restaurant were also great, fast, and accurate.

nice and comfy

it was nice. we had a problem with internet in the room (we had none). since it was promised i was expecting it. i would had prefered that they tell me that there is not interent available. The restaurant offers a wide range of food but nothing extraordinary. fresh spring rolls in the restaurant are just amazing. we had insects and lizzards in our room everyday ( i guess that is normal). Garden was nice and well taken care of.

Best Hotel in Luang Prabang

Posted Mar 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
This hotel is set in beautiful grounds, it is wonderfully peaceful but still within a comfortable walking distance to the centre of town. The service is outstanding from the moment they pick you up at the airport. The manager, Mr Jean Paul Sara, ensured all the staff provided excellent service, and he himself circulated around all the guest at breakfast each morning to check everyone was happy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Wonderful staff!

Pros: Staff
Cons: Shuttle service
Location: The location was just over the old bridge but with in walking distance of town... or shuttle or tuk tuk... lot's to do and see!
I stayed 4 nights at the hotel and had a great time - the staff was very kind and helpful... My room was clean and comfortable. My only issue was waiting for the shuttle to come back to the hotel - there is no return service until around 9/9:30.... Shuttle's only leave to go downtown if they have someone interested in going, so I waited for a 6pm shuttle from the hotel and it never arrived and I had to take a tuk tuk back. The food was great also!

Excellent hotel. Right by the river the room was spacious. I would go back there again for sure if there is a chance to go back to Luang Prabang.

Enjoyed the location but probably would have preferred to be closer to town. While the walk into town might be OK when weather is not too hot, it's too long to do every day and night. They provide bikes for use which is fun. They also provide a shuttle but it rarely ran at times that worked for us. Walking across the old wooden bridge at night can be a bit uncomfortable as the bridge is not well-lit the entire way. Breakfast on the patio overlooking the river was very nice.

Wonderful hotel along the river.

Posted Mar 27, 2013
Pros: The staff were wonderful!
Cons: The sir conditioning required the room key to function (This is common), so I could not have the room cooling down while I was out.
Location: Beautiful grounds right alongside the river near the old bridge.
I was extremely impressed and please with this hotel! I stayed in one of the bungaloes. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was very nice. THere was a refrigerator in the room, and complimentary bottles of water daily. The location was very nice. It was alongside the river and just across the old bridge. The hotel provides free airport transfers and also provides free bike use and free breakfasts! The best thing, though, was the staff. At the bar, Kaeck and Xaysone were wonderful, pleasant, and helpful! The management was very pleasant and helpful, helping me plan several outings! (Thanks, Jean Paul!).

Nice hotel, phenomenal service

The hotel is nice, set off from the town a bit with regular shuttle service into town. The staff is over-the-top helpful, going out of their way to make the trip as nice as possible. A wonderful stay all-in-all.
