Couldn't use pool.

Posted Mar 23, 2015
If I'd known this was Lubbocks go to hotel for birthday parties,I would not have stayed here. My 12 yr old son an I wanted to go swimming the majority of our stay but that was impossible! 20 or so screaming kids in pool everytime (4x's checked)we checked to see if we could swim. Ridiculous! The hotel was so crowded! The beds were comfortable but bathroom /shower/tube was soooo tiny. Two peoplecant fit in that rm. BBathtub an shower was old. Needs remodeling. Keys wouldn't work when we got to rm. Lightbulb out in lamp. Won't stay again. staff was nice though.

Embassy Suites are great usually

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: The beautiful atrium and spacious rooms.
Cons: see above
Embassy Suites are usually really nice. The accommodations are very nice and the hotel has a feeling of luxury overall. The room itself was lovely. But the little things things were missing. Towels and toilet tissue were hard to come by and rough. The breakfast bar, usually a highlight was very disappointing. The hotel was hosting a lot of high school students and I was awoken at 2 AM by shouting and such in the parking lot. It was okay just not great; because of those little things that usually set an Embassy Suit apart.

Too many corridors, to much musak

Posted Mar 17, 2015
Pros: Convenient to where we needed to be. Great breakfast!
Cons: Less music.
Hotel is "U" shaped - had to walk a quite a way to our room. Once we figured out how to use a back door, it was okay. But still had to walk a ways to find gym & get back to front desk. Our room was near the breakfast area. Very noisy but in the evening the hotel played 'Musak" music. Called front desk and was told it 'played' until 10:30 to 11:00. Finally stopped around 11. Lots of children running around in the evening hours.

Very nice hotel. Close to everything in Lubbock.

Pros: The hotel was very comfortable, clean and had everything we look for when we pick a hotel. Nice clean room, friendly staff, free as ordered breakfast.
Location: Easy access from the loop and within a few minutes from shopping and restaurants.
We just stayed one night and had to leave by 10:00am, but had a great stay. The staff were all very professional and friendly and the facility was a real pleasure to visit. The lounge area was very open and comfortable and the breakfast area was a great place to start our day. I wish we had a few more days here, it would have been very relaxing. We did not have time to visit the business rooms or eat at the restaurant, but I assume they are very very nice too.

In a difficult time for the family, the inviting, polite, courteous staff and the tranquil atmosphere made our stay at the Embassy Suites in Lubbock a very pleasant and relaxing experience. We can also see where a corporate outing or a businessman would enjoy the many amenities, from the free continental breakfast, that would satisfy any appetite, the Manager's Special in the evening, to the gym.

Pros: The service was excellent. I appreciated having meal service available at the bar in the evening as well as the breakfast - which was great also.
The staff was friendly and helpful. I arrived in the evening and was grateful to be able to get food in the hotel - and did not have to go out.

Wonderful experience!

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We loved the goodie bag with the coke, popcorn and card. The room felt very clean and fresh.
Cons: We had to be at our volleyball tournament by 7:30am, and breakfast didn't start serving until then, so we had to find an alternative for breakfast.
Location: Location is great - wonderful restaurants and mall nearby.
My daughter and I stayed at the Embassy Suites in Lubbock for one night for a volleyball tournament. We were warmly greeted at the door when we walked in, check-in was a breeze, and our room was very clean. When we came back from dinner, a goodie bag had been delivered to our room with some treats and a sweet note wishing my daughter good luck in her tournament the next day. The staff made us feel so welcome, we will definitely stay there for our next trip to Lubbock!
