There was a STRONG chemical smell feom cleaning I thought, it was suffocating. We got in the bed and the discovered it was the sheets that carried the very strong smell. I slept with one of my shirts over mouth mouth and nose. Rough night. Staff really nice.

Marisa was very rude during our check in, after explaining that I had a registered service animal staying with us she asked what service he provided then proceeded to tell me she had to charge a 75$ per fee because the service he provides is not considered “a real service” despite being registered. I asked for a refund so we could go elsewhere, she wouldn’t do that so I was forced to pay the fee. Needless to say we checked out a night early during our two day stay. Never booking with Hampton again that’s for sure!

Denied Free breakfast!
Booked this room for my kids and grandkids while they traveling across the country on a road trip. They were denied breakfast. They were informed it was “cook to order” breakfast. Website CLEARLY states FREE BREAKFAST!!!!

Perhaps a different location as some Hilton brands do offer a cook to order breakfast. Please reach out to us directly if you would like to speak with us personally.

Bathroom was nice, functional, not broken down and nasty like the Hampton Inn in Gainsville, Tx…exhaust fans in bathroom are a big plus, thanks for a great stay!

Nothing extraordinarily terrible, but for the price it is a very outdated and subpar stay. The dining area is clean and comfortable, but our room had previous guests trash behind furniture and while good enough for a quick overnight, it did not seem thoroughly sanitary.

The gentleman who checked us in after midnight was top of the line. He ensured that we started our stay wonderfully and honestly, he was the best part. Room was great, but it's nice to be greeted by a friendly face, you know?

When i made my reservation i was supposed to be charged $120 for room and when i checked in i was charged $149.60 , and was not informed of change in charge unitl i seen it on my online banking. Not acceptable it they are not going to honor the Expedia rate then why use Expedia to make reservations.

Easier to find coming from the west, but worth it.
A bit hard to find, but worth it. And we were lucky enough to meet Victor, the desk clerk there. After a long, hard drive, his compassion, humor and friendliness was just what we needed to end the day.

I picked this hotel because they say they are pet friendly. There was nothing that you can easily see on their website noting that there would be a non-refundable pet deposit. It just lists the Hampton Inn as "Pet Friendly." Also, I was told that I would not be charged a pet deposit when checking into this hotel. I had several problems with two of the rooms that I reserved. When I called to talk to someone regarding this, I was told that there was nothing they could do about it. Hampton Inn apparently does not worry about their customer service.

Yipping Dog until 11:30 pm
We had a yipping dog next door to us that barked all day and night until after 11:30pm I could not sleep so I called the desk they informed me they had been trying to reach the guy with no result. All I got from the employees was “yea we are sorry for that.” What happened to customer service and taking care of your customers. We won’t be staying at your hotel in the future.
It was hard to locate. You need a bigger sign out by the south Loop.
The staff was friendly.
The tub/shower needed to be cleaned better. The floor was very slimy.
The staff were courteous and friendly the lady in charge of the breakfast Eva was amazing. She made sure everyone had a seat and went above and beyond.
