Beautiful room

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: The beauty and comfort of the rooms.
Cons: Light out in the bathroom, shower curtain too dark, making the shower too dark. Paper towel holder broken. Hotel bldg was ugly from the outside.
Location: Location was near the University.
The room was beautiful with high ceilings and crown moulding throughout. All of the rooms were inside which I like. The beds were made and towels replenished each day.

Nice hotel, convenient to medical area.

Posted Jul 3, 2014
We went to Lubbock for a medical appointment, so just really needed a place to sleep. Our room was very clean, and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Included breakfast was good. Will stay there again.

Pleasing Experience

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: The rooms and the mattress.
Cons: The carpets looked a little worn, but were very clean and pretty.
Location: We went to the Alamo Drafthouse. The food was tasty and the service was great. I love Lubbock hospitality!!
The Staff was very nice and helpful. I was surprised at how well decorated and comfortable the rooms were. I don't know what brand of mattress I slept on, but I fell quickly to sleep...and this is coming from a Temperapidic mattress owner. The breakfast was average, but I am use to eating fine food. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Lubbock.

Very Disappointing

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: The outside of the hotel had a nice appearance. The interior was nice. The staff was nice.
We walked into the room and we were hit with the unpleasant smell of mildew. The couch was uncomfortable to sit on. The shower was horrible, water ended up all over the floor, it took every towel in the bathroom to sop up the water so we could safely walk on the floor. The bench in the shower was flimsy, I was afraid it would break when I sat down on it. The beds were comfortable, but the blinds didn't cover the window completely so the bed nearest the window had the lights from the parking lot streaming in all night. The only way to avoid the light shining in my eyes was to sleep more than a foot from the head board, which meant my feet hung off the edge if I stretched out. When I went to use a tissue, there was only one tissue in the box. Breakfast was another bad experience, I tried to get some cranberry juice, the machine was out. There was nobody manning the kitchen or breakfast area so I could request more cranberry juice. I made a waffle, which takes more than 2 minutes to cook, still no one was around to tell about the juice. I waited more than 5 minutes. The bagel my husband had was stale and the cream cheese tasted bad.

Needs renovating

The hotel has seen better days. Toilet water ran the whole time. Could easily hear neighbors talking through the walls. Broken tile in bathroom. Fitness room not properly air conditioned. Trash piled in cans by elevators. Ewww.

Quick trip to Lubbock

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Booking the room was simple. Got lost looking for the hotel and the staff was so helpful in guiding me in to the right area. Room was clean, comfortable and very spacious. Had a little trouble trying to get hot water for a shower but it may have been user error. Overall a wonderful stay and we are coming back for Texas Tech Orientation

Convenient to everything.

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Modern hotel. Large rooms.
Cons: Breakfast. You had to open a small carton of milk for cereal. It felt a little wasteful to throw away the remaining milk.
Location: Good location to Texas Tech and Loop.
Spacious and clean rooms. Breakfast was meh.....left a lot to be desired. Room can be noisy depending on location.
