A nice, small hotel with comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. We went for the Carnevale and were happy to find it was inside the barriers, so we didn’t have to pay an entrance fee. Very convenient location to food the promenade. The owners were very helpful and flexible.

Ely hotel
Serena, Susanna and their father were very warm and welcoming. They helped with our luggage and moved us to a new room when the first one did not work out. The property is a little dated, but it is well located near the beach/boardwalk and about 45 minutes to La Spezia for the train to Cinque Terra.

Great hotel in good location in Viareggio
We spent a week here in May 2016. The hotel is in a great location, the owners are very friendly and helpful, rooms are comfortable and quiet and breakfast offers a good selection.

Awesome area, and a great hotel owner. He is very friendly and offered a very welcoming stay. The room was clean but the window had a few webs on them. All in all it was a great value for money.

Wonderful family-run hotel, one block from the Sea
I loved the Ely Hotel! I spent a whole week there, and it was a great location to enjoy the Mediterranean and the Viareggio Park, and also make day-trips to Lucca and Pisa. Allesandro is the owner and his daughter Serena are excellent hosts. Serena speaks very good English, and was always helpful with information about the area. The breakfast, with all the cappuccinos you can drink, was very generous. I was full until dinner time! The location is a bit far from the train station, but very convenient if you are driving in the area. I will definitely come back to the Ely Hotel!

A lovely family run hotel
The family running this hotel are all about customer service. A home style breakfast and a genuine interest in their guests. We mentioned that we were going to Cinque Terre and the next morning we were presented with train timetables, station changes,maps & general information about the walk. Value for money, you can't go wrong at the Hotel Ely.

AMAZING!!! Wonderful family, we enjoyed visiting with them and felt sad to leave. Alexander gave us information for our travels and made us feel very welcome, along with his beautiful daughters!!!

Grand hotel, close to the beach.
Basic, clean rooms with decent air conditioning. Right beside the beach and the park with lots of amusements and bike rental. Does the job.

Wir waren 3 Nächte in der Unterkunft. Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider hatten wir fast nur schlechtes Wetter, aber die Gastgeber gaben uns immer wieder kleine Tips für Ausflüge. Das Meer war innerhalb von ca. 1 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Ist echt empfehlenswert.

Supernice and cosy hotel close to the beach!
Its a small and cosy hotel close to the beach and all the restaurants at the beachpromenade. The room was comfortable with a good bed and aircondition. The breakfast was nice, with different to choose from and lovely coffe. The personnel is fantastic, they are serviceminded, very helpful and in a good mood. We would definitely like to come back:)

Hotel essenziale con ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Punti di forza la gentilezza dei titolari e la pulizia impeccabile. Ottima la possibilità, legata alla stanza, di poter parcheggiare ovunque per 24 ore a 5 euro.. Torneremo di sicuro.

Prezzo molto interessante considerando che siamo a 40 metri dalla passeggiata di Viareggio. Unica cosa negativa è che il check in chiude alle 18. Successivamente mandano le istruzioni per entrare. Io non avevo capito, e ho dovuto chiamare colui che gestisce l'albergo alle 1:30 di notte per non rimanere fuori. Però complessivamente è una ottima struttura, e non è escluso che ci possa tornare

Dejligt hotel til rimelig pris
Vi havde dejlige dage på Ely hotel. Personalet er meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Der er rent og pænt, med daglig rengøring, og der er dejlig morgenmad.

L hotel e ina bel complesso in stile neoclassuco. Pur essendo ancora allo allo stato originale dell ultima tistrutturazione anno 60, è fornito di tutto il necessario, frigobar aria condizionata bagno ecc.. abbuamo fatto un week end e siamo stati bene.

Grazie per la recensione. Lo stile del complesso principale è "Liberty", come molte costruzioni a Viareggio. Nel 2017 è stata rifatta la facciata, nel 2019 l'impianto di riscaldamento. Vi aspettiamo ancora!

Hotel a conduzione famigliare, personale molto gentile, hotel nella norma per la categoria. Bagno piccolo e vecchio, sarebbe da sistemare un po'. Ci avevamo dato una camera tripla grande, nonostante fossimo in 2. Colazione standard. Prezzo economico. Ottima posizione, laterale del lungomare.

Grazie per la recensione. Purtroppo, non essendo proprietari dell'immobile, abbiamo molti limiti negli interventi strutturali. Cerchiamo di ovviare offrendo servizi che non tutti gli alberghi della nostra categoria offrono (bollitore, frigobar, cortesie, ecc.). Per noi è norma, quando la disponibilità lo consente, di assegnare sempre la migliore camera disponibile, anche se superiore alla tipologia prenotata. Vi aspettiamo ancora!

Graziosa villa d'epoca
Posizione strategica a pochi passi dal mare e dalla pineta. Gradevole il soggiorno invernale, camera molto ben riscaldata. Lo consiglio anche per la gentilezza del proprietario.

Cheep but very simple....
The hotel is good based in just 3 minutes walk to the Promenade and 5 to the beach. The staff off the hotel are extremely friendly. The room was small and very used. The bathroom had his best days before 30 years I guess. Our room was based on the back side on the bottom floor with few to the breakfast room. Breakfast was simple but ok. Over all the price was more or less fair (for August) but I wouldn't stay there again. Maybe they have better rooms available. Puplic parking arround the hotel for fife Euro a day.

Erittäin hyvä palvelu! Nuhjuinen ja kulunut mutta hyvin siivottu huone, vaatimaton kylpyhuone, sekin puhdas. Helppo sijainti ja parveke oli tässä huoneessa kiva lisä, merikin pilkotti.

Hotel semplice, confortevole e pulito
Sono stata molto bene. L'albergo era molto carino e ben tenuto. La camera era molto bella, confortevole, pulita ed ordinata. La prima colazione è stata semplice. Era tutto molto buono. È stato un soggiorno molto piacevole. L'albergo è molto vicino alla passeggiata sulla spiaggia con vari negozi, bar e locali.
