Excellent locationPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The Staff
Cons: Choice of cereals at breakfast and clearer direction on getting into the hotel from the street.
Location: Do not miss the daily Puccini one hour Opera recital it really is fabulous and is a good insight to opera.
The Hotel is fairly quirky being located on the first floor of a building in the main street in Lucca. However once located you will find that the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and the Hotel is very clean and well presented. An ideal location for a visit to Lucca.

Excellent location in Lucca. Historic building.Posted Jun 27, 2014
Near to everything. Lovely old Palazzo. Stayed with my friend. Owner very helpful and suggested we go to 2 restaurants with gardens - which were fab - and attend the Puccini mini opera in one of the churches. This turned out to be the highlight of the trip. Overall the stay was one of the best experiences we've had. And the breakfasts were a delight.

Fascinating medieval city, residencePosted Apr 4, 2014
Wonderful staff prepared interesting and delicious breakfasts. Location on street with boutique shopping, near an excellent restaurant, Camuleia. Enjoyed the 13th century palazzo.

This was a great, little hotel inside the wall. The staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. The hotel is built into a very old building but is nicely done. Not much to look at from the outside, so a real surprise when you get in. The room was nicely furnished and maintained. There was parking nearby and easy access to the street. This was our first time in Lucca and the walled city was great. We were surprised by how many shops, restaurants, etc were inside the wall. A great place to spend a few days.

Pros: Perfect location for exploring Lucca
The hotel lies just of the main shopping drag in Lucca but is in the quietest of courtyards. This makes it the perfect place to base your explorations of this lovely town.
