We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff were very helpful and accommodating . The room was the nicest of all the rooms while in Italy, and the shower (new) was like enjoying a tropical waterfall!! I can't say enough nice things about Hotel Napoleon. M. Fleuette

Really liked the hotel and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It had free parking and was in walking distance of the walled city. Would recommend it!

Easy to find, good location for a walk into Lucca

Posted Sep 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Centre is 15 minutes away. easy to find from the Florence Pisa autoroute.Very friendly welcoming people behind the desk. Huge room top floor, slightly worn but with a large balcony great views across the valley and into the Luccan hills. Hotel not doing evening food, but good breakfast Owner manager directs you to a high quality steak house from which you really have to be desperate to go another 50m to Mickey D's!

Very noisy

Staff were excellent ,we arrived late at night and the gentleman in reception was very accommodating. Overall the hotel is tired and our room was beside a main road and was extremely noisy.

Cinque Terre

Posted Aug 18, 2013
Great location across the road from train station. They were very helpful with car parking. Also a recommendation from staff to a superb restaurant in La Spezia! Rooms were pretty basic, as were bathrooms, but more than adequate for a base to explore The Cinque Terre. We had to move the car the next day for incoming guests but the car park under the train station was relatively cheap to park in for the day. Breakfast was good with freshly baked pastry, and good coffee.
