Very nice Villa close to the old town.Posted Jun 16, 2014
The staff were very good and helped with every request. A very nice breakfast that could be had out in the garden if the weather is fine. The villa was only a five minute walk to the main walls of the old town. Definitely stay here if you don't want to be in the old town.

Lucca in Villa San DonatoPosted Sep 4, 2013
Pros: Smaller individual style of hotel, with character and a great position close to town. Reasonable cost. Very good service.
Cons: No air conditioning in our room but it was still comfortable when we were there.
Location: Lucca is a very pretty walled town - walk the circuit of the wall or hire a bike to do it. The leaning tower is obviously nearby in Pisa
Very nicely situated outside the town walls, with a good breakfast included in the very reasonable room rates. Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly in reception and they made it easy for us by speaking excellent english.

Good hotel well locatedPosted Jul 20, 2013
Cons: Shower, housekeeping
Location: Good location
Happy with hotel but request for twin bed was not how we found it on arrival even though it was confirmed at booking and re confirmed day before arrival and confirmed back by hotel. Shower broken needed to be repaired but was not done during our visit. Hotel well located for Lucca centre and bus station.

Wonderful B&BPosted Oct 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
This was far above our stay in Genoa and half the price! Nice breakfast with a variety of items, clean and tasteful room and very friendly, helpful service. We got good restaurant suggestions as well as bike rental tips. We stayed three days and loved that it was within walking distance to the walled city and to the train station. If you come to Lucca stay here!

Excellent and comfortable bed and breakfast!Posted Jul 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
We arrived at the bed and breakfast and called the number listed as noted on the door entrance. Sylvia was extremely pleasant and helpful. The room was very quaint and clean. It did not have AC (which was not a problem), but did have a fan for the room. The free wi-fi available was easy to access and dependable. The B&B is located about 200 meters from the old village walls. The breakfast was excellent! Meats, cheeses, croissants, pastries, cereals, juice and coffee were available. Would definitely recommend this B&B.

Good locationPosted Mar 31, 2010
This B&B is located very close to the outside wall of Lucca. Very easy access to the old city for people that come with a car, parking is available in the backyard. The manager is very friendly, English speaking, the breakfast is good and plenty of food. Unfortunately the building is old and not updated and in the bathroom was no heat. The Wi-Fi internet worked well for me. For the money it was a good choice. I would recommend it only to people that are not too fussy about their room and appreciate more the old European houses and a good continental breakfast (cereals available too).
