Delightful boutique hotel - so enjoyed our stay.Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, charming rooms, wonderful breakfasts.
Location: Within easy walking distance of many excellent restaurants and local attractions.
My mum and I recently enjoyed the most wonderful, relaxing stay at the Alla Corte degli Angeli. From the moment of our arrival, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our room - Rosa, was charming, clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were superb with so much choice and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our apperitifs in the evening with local cheese and meats, all served with a friendly smile. We will certainly be returning.

The hotel staff was excellent and very attentive. Our stay at the hotel was October 22nd - 26th and it was unseasonably warm during that time. We requested to hotel management that they please turn on the a/c to which we were told it was turned off for the winter. This lead to very uncomfortable evenings trying to sleep.

Excellent location.Posted Oct 1, 2013
Pros: Location, breakfast, staff.
Cons: Noise from the car park.
We stayed here for two nights to rest a bit after completing a walking tour of the Tuscany hilltowns. The hotel is in a fabulous location inside the city walls and only steps from the Roman Amphitheater. The facility is in a very old building and has the attendant character. Everything was clean and comfortable, but there was a bit of noise outside our window in a small car park between buildings. The noise never lasted very late into the evening so it wasn't a big deal. You can walk to everything inside the city walls of Lucca from the hotel and are just steps off the main shopping street of Fillungo. There is also a very good casual restaurant just steps from the hotel that serves meals throughout the day. The hotel breakfast is fabulous in both choice and quality. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. Overall we loved this property for the amount paid and would return without question.

Great location and friendly servicePosted Sep 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a very memorable stay in Lucca. The quality of this accommodation made it even more special. The reception staff on our arrival greeted us with a smile and was very helpful. The rooms are fantastic and the beds extremely comfortable. The breakfast is amazing. Fresh squeezed juice, eggs and anything else you would want. We will certainly put it on our return list and would recommend it to anyone travelling to Lucca.

Great location and atmospeherePosted Aug 11, 2013
Cons: Television didn't work
Location: In the old town.
Excellent location and atmosphere. Superb breakfast. The only qualification was that the television didn't seem to work and there weren't instructions to use it.

Hotel "Charme" Lives Up to Its NamePosted Apr 23, 2013
This is the quintessential small boutique hotel in the heart of Lucca's old town -- it is truly charming, well-kept, with old-world touches and fairly spacious rooms. The staff is kind and helpful; an extra touch is a graceful breakfast room and sumptuous breakfast for those who prefer to eat at least this meal in-house. I really have nothing but praise for this quiet oasis in Lucca, one of Italy's most wonderful destinations.

Lovely Lucca B and BPosted Oct 9, 2012
Pros: Delicious and extensive breakfast.
Cons: Wish the hotel had a little terrace or outdoor garden where guests could enjoy a glass of wine. Expensive parking but free parking very close by.
Location: Great location. Quiet but close to everything.
Very fine hotel with lovely decor in the rooms. Extensive and delicious breakfast included. Excellent location for wandering the streets of Lucca. Very friendly and helpful staff.
