“Most comfortable room in italy”

This was by far the most comfortable hotel I have stayed in in Italy. The bed was amazing, it made it difficult to get out and enjoy the wonderful city! Clean rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast (great cappuccino). The city itself is tiny so you don't need much time there - but definitely walk to walls (only 2.5 miles) for a great activity. Then, just wandering the streets is nice as well. One problem - on Sunday and during hte afternoons (1-4) most things are closed...

“Lucca Gem”

Our family had a fantastic experience at the Palazzo Alexander Hotel! The staff, service and breakfast were exceptional. The staff were knowledgeable, multi-lingual and very warm and friendly. We look forward to visiting Lucca and staying at the Palazzo Alexander Hotel again.

“Small but convenient”

The Palazzo Alexander is well situated inside the walls of Lucca, so any site of interest is within walking distance. The staff were extremely helpful and breakfast is very decent with a selection of breads, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, cereal and of course tea or cappuccino. I had a single room which was small but comfortable. I would describe the furnishings as having old-world charm (antique furniture etc.) but those expecting palatial exuberance will be disappointed. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are quite a few within a 10 minute walk. Overall I had a very pleasant stay.

“Luxury in Lucca”

Lucca is a great town to visit and this hotel went out of their way to make the visit as pleasant as possible. The staff, in particular, are great hosts that took care of our every need. This is near 5-star quality.
