Tolles Hotel im Palazzo-Stil

Posted Jul 15, 2015

Fabulous,Friendly Family Hotel

From the moment we arrived we had a wonderful stay. The old world charm of the hotel set the scene . Great location, great breakfast. Even the taxi driver (Andrea)arranged to take us to Pisa worked out beautifully. Mario and his staff exceeded all expectations .

Lage TOP, Hotel insgesamt okay, Service :-(

Posted Jul 6, 2015
Pros: Lage
3 Nächte in Folge the same procedure... Insgesamt Note 3.

Great location

This hotel is managed by a father and son team, could not do enough to make our stay a wonderful experience. Can't wait to go back would not think of staying anywhere else. Fabulous rooms with a balcony which overlooked the rooftops of lucca

Beautiful hotel with superb service

Posted May 23, 2015
Pros: Great decor, wonderful service
Location: The hotel is located within the city walls of Lucca. Everything is in easy walking distance, including good restaurants and the wall-top park.
We spent one night at the Palazzo Alexander in Lucca. The hotel is a lovely boutique place, with each room named after a Puccini opera. We stayed in the La Boheme room on the upper floor. The handsomely decorated room had ceiling frescos and a very nice bathroom. The service at the hotel was impeccable - one was left with the feeling that the staff wanted to do anything possible to ensure that you enjoyed your stay to the fullest extent. Whenever we return to Lucca, we'll be certain to come to the Palazzo Alexander.

Nice old hotel in beautiful lucca

Our room looked nothing like that picture, but for us the biggest detractor was the lack of shower with the silliest bathtub around. Also no air conditioning, so with the windows open it is very, very noisy all night.

Nice small hotel in quiet area

Posted May 10, 2015
I loved the hotel! It was within the wall but close to it for easy access. The furnishings were charming and I loved the dining room and breakfast. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful and the owner gave me an Italian lesson every morning. If you like a small, family owned hotel then this fits the bill.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of Lucca

Posted May 7, 2015
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Palazzo Alexander Hotel. The staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful. The hotel had a lift, which was an essential for a member of our party who had difficulty walking. Location was perfect for access to all the shops and the city walls. Would highly recommend.
