Beautiful PalazzoPosted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: The ceilings!
Cons: Only one minor negative - the sofa bed where the kids were sleeping was very uncomfortable.
Location: If you are driving make sure you enter by the correct Lucca gate (there are 4) as many of the narrow streets end in a pedestrian walkway. Hire bikes
Palazzo Tucci is a step back in time to a grander age. Staying there was a pleasure. Wonderful staff, amazing breakfast, clean and tidy rooms right in the heart of Lucca.

Great choice for a special experience.Posted Nov 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
Tucked into the beautiful village of Lucca, these palatial accommodations are truly special. This beautiful B&B is set on the 3rd floor of what was once noble family's palace. High ceilings, huge old paintings and decorative wall treatment is everywhere. We were greeted by a lovely young woman who spoke a bit of English which was a big help. The breakfast spread was lovely. Cheeses, meats, sweets, and fruits galore. The only negative was that we only had one night to spend in this enchanting home. We'd recommend it to anyone looking for a special experience in Italy.

Great unique hotel for families or couples.Posted Jul 31, 2012
Pros: Size and atmosphere of the hotel. It was like being back in time - very grand.
Amazing, unique one-off place! Only a few rooms, but the whole place is huge! We had a four-poster bed in our large room and our two children shared the pull-out sofa bed in the connecting room, so it was like a large suite! Staff very helpful and fantastic location in the centre of Lucca. Also has the advantage of being able to park in their adjacent garage (for free). Would definitely recommend it.

A Palazzo in LuccaPosted Jul 17, 2012
Pros: The ceilings were amazing.
Cons: No shower curtain which was a problem for some. Second bed was a sofa bed.
Location: Good location
It was a delightful place to stay giving us a small idea of how life was for some in past times. The rooms were huge and very comfortable, breakfast was great and the staff friendly and helpful. I would happily recommend this grand residence to others looking for a bit of luxury in their travels. The location was also central although no where is far in lovely Lucca.
