The hotel was easy to find from the train station in Viareggio, right on the promonade and so easy to reach all the shops and fine restaurants.
The room was clean as a whistle and made up promptly each morning.
Speaking of morning, the breakfast was beyond belief, three kinds of cheeses, ham, salami, three kinds of bread, scrambled eggs, bacon, two kinds of yogurt, fresh fruit, three kinds of pastries and on and on.
Don't try to carry your own bag or they will take your arm off, they are right there for all your needs.

The hotel is in a great location right by the beach. Suggest you use the hotel discount at the Onda private beach which gives you an umbrella, lounge chairs, access to a nice pool and cabins to change for a day. The staff was friendly and the breakfast excellent. There is a private parking lot, but it is so full that you leave the keys with the receptionist, and they will move cars for you. Parking in the vicinity is extremely scarce after 10 a.m. in summer, so the hotel parking lot is really helpful. The only negative was the air conditioning which barely worked. It was too late to fix the A/C when we checked in, and as a result we were uncomfortably hot during the night. Everything else was very pleasant - we would stay here again.

Very good location, lovely friendly staff. Fabulous breakfast on the roof terrace with views towards the sea which made the holiday for myself and my husband. Also a lovely shaded area out front to sit with a drink. Room and ensuite basic.
