The Grand palladium experience was wonderful. There were lots of restaurants to eat at. The pool and beach were relaxing and fun. We always had a drink in our hand. Lots of bars at the hotel. The staff was was polite and hard working. The hotel staff made sure we had entertainment everyday. I don't have any complaints.

Originally we were put in a room number 103, there was no hot water, most of the lights did not work, and there was a construction 2 feet from our porch. Every morning at 6 AM, there would be people and loud equipment 2 feet from our hotel room even on Sunday.
However after the first night we notified the desk, and by 1 o'clock we were in a nicer room away from the construction. The hotel staff and front desk are extremely friendly and nice. And they took immediate action once we notified them that we had issues.
The only disappointment was the hotel restaurant. Out of a scale of 1 to 1000, on a good day I give them a one the lowest... Any review that says the restaurant is good is foolish.

Check in was smooth in room fast. Went to lookaround grab a quick lunch and right to the beach. The beach is really nice. Nice sandy with clean clear warm water. We stayed in tha water for hours at a time. The hotle is real nice and well kept. Buffets were good service was real good. Restaurants were good appatizer selection not my favorite but good dinners. You do need to make reservations and they do book up. Buffet was changed nightly and good. Our favorite is breakfast and all meals with the fresh local fruit. Bar service is real good just small glasses so if you want bring a larger insulated cup or mug. Eat the fruit and help stay hydrated if in the sun.
We loved the beach and were constantly in the water. The pools were nothuge but we only went in for about a half hour a day at the end of the day. Pools were nice just loved the beach. There are shops or huts for things between the 2 RIU's with all kinds of stuff for sale. They will work you hard so be ready and just keepwalking. If you see something you want or do want to look just be ready for the hard sell. The beach had hawkers walking up and down and would back off. If they came up to much then security would walk over. Simple tell em no and keep moving. They can be persistant but say no thanks and move on.
We reconnected as a family and this trip was the best one ever. I would say this is a real good place for vacation, mixof couples and families. We would go back. Miss it already.

The resort is what you make it. If you want to kick back and relax peacefully you can. If you want to party hard, you can do that also. It is clothing optional (prude) on one side of the beach/pool and other is nude required. Don't worry about how you look going nude. There are people of all weights and shapes and nobody is made to feel uncomfortable. More people tended to gather on the nude side, but there were still some activities and guests hanging out on the prude side.
Staff was very pleasant. The entertainment team mingled with the guests even when they weren't performing, getting people involved. There are different themes every night so check the hotel website ahead of time. While it's not required to dress for the theme it can be fun. The buffet wasn't huge but had good options at each meal. Made to order omelettes at breakfast, made to order pasta at lunch/dinner. Some sort of meat carving, fish, rice always available. The snack bars were stocked with quick eats like burgers, fries, patties, and jerk chicken.
June 2015-They are in the process of renovating and we didn't get one of the newer rooms but it was still clean. The lobby is being rebuilt and the rendering looks like it will be great once complete. The bed was a little rough for my liking so hopefully those get upgraded as well.
Overall, we had a great trip and would return.

We stayed at Negril for a week long honeymoon trip. It was very nice and relaxing. The staff was great and there were plenty of things to do and places to eat, but the resort was still small enough to feel at home. The staff was very personable and made our stay very enjoyable.
