Pros: The hotel was easy to find, and wasn't far from the downtown area of Ludington.
The hotel staff was courteous, the rooms were quiet, and clean. They have a good breakfast that gives the guest many different options.

The front desk person was incredibly rude. The common areas & hallways were filthy. Beds were small. Do not recommend.

Pick Someplace Else

Pros: It was nice to have a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Great selection of TV channels. It was clean.
Cons: The front desk manager was multi-tasking to cover the breakfast area because someone was sick. If someone is sick, call in additional help.
Location: Many fun restaurants and shops in town. The beach is lovely.
The king room was a very cramped space The bed takes up the whole room and there was nowhere to sit besides the office chair at the desk. My key(s) did not work upon check in and then again in the morning causing trips back to the front desk to wait in line for reactivation. The "breakfast" really should be called continental. A pan of sausage gravy and hard boiled eggs don't constitute a "hot" breakfast to me. The walls are very thin and I could easily make out conversation in the room next door and heard their toilet every time they flushed. Had hoped to have a drink and/or meal in the lounge, only to learn it is closed on Sunday, even in busy Summer season.

Pros: Just about everything
Cons: More hot food variety for breakfast.
Location: The location was a bit far out of the main area of Ludington, but there are plenty of stores and restaurants near the motel.
This was the final of four different motels we stayed in while on our motorcycle trip around Lake Michigan. It was also the nicest by quite a margin. The room was very inviting and everything seemed relatively new. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were just the right size. It was quiet at night, and the air conditioner did a nice job without making too much noise. The room had a modern wide screen TV hampered only by basic cable service. Breakfast was average. Just the typical waffle machine and biscuits and gravy. No bacon, hot eggs, or other breakfast meats. There were hard boiled eggs as a consolation. . The motel has a nice bar and grill lounge with $1 beers from 5 to 7. Hard to beat! Other amenities include a nice sized pool with a hot tub, an area for games, and an exercise room. All in all, a nice place to stay.

Shower water adjustment

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Quick to get into a room
Location: Was good
The water in the shower was either too hot or too cold. The knob was hard to adjust.
