Pros: The service and the location.
Cons: Everything about the room.
Location: The location was awesome, and always lots to do.
there were no chairs or a table, instead we got bunk beds. Also, there was a constant drip inside the wall at the head of our bed. We love Manistee and will continue going back, but will never stay at the Inn again,

Coldest days of the year

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Price and Location
Cons: Softer/better matresses
Location: Right in Downtown
When we had arrived the staff had turned up the heat in the room for a nice break from the freezing cold of the day. The room was very clean and in good condition. The beds left a little to be desired for comfort, but for the price it was acceptable. Over all it is a nice medium priced hotel in Downtown Manistee.

Good Value for the Money.

Posted Nov 21, 2014
Pros: Very clean and quiet.
Cons: A little more choices for the breakfast. New TV.
The hotel was nice and the staff was courteous. The room was good size but dated. Clean but could use an item from this century like a Wide Screen TV. The breakfast was the least amount of food I think I have every see at a hotel or motel. There was a few bowls worth of cereal and 6 or 7 bagels. But for the money I spent, it was good enough and it was convenient, right in the middle of down town Manistee.

Great Location

Posted Nov 9, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: The continental breakfast was very minimum...
Location: Beach, Casino, River Walk complete with draw bridges, Theatre, Scenic Main Street with quaint shops and museums
This is an older building, but the stay was clean and comfortable. Not fancy but adequate because it is all about the Location! Beautiful street, plenty to do within walking distance. Great Lake Michigan Beach right down the road. Hourly shuttle for casino if you are looking for something more energetic! The area offers so much, the room provided all we needed the short time we were in it. Plan to do this many more times. If you prefer the river view from the window (which isn't necessary if you are out walking on the amazing river boardwalk, the scenic street or at the beach, golf course or casino) call the establishment...this room isn't facing the river but the price is great.

An older hotel. Well kept, very clean. Would go back. Continental breakfast was very lean and no place to eat it except your room.

The hotel was very very clean. We liked the fact that we could walk to restaurants and the beautiful old movie theater. The river walk was very nice too. The surrounding area was a bit rundown so we didn't tour the neighborhood. Like many old river towns. Lot of potential, there, but we thought our stay was fine. Good price, would stay here again. Staff very friendly.

One Night Stay...okay

Posted Aug 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was clean and well maintained. The only thing was we were on the ground level and our window was so close to the parking area it didn't feel private. The staff was there when we arrived but they leave at 10 pm and don't come back until 9 am. So we felt uncomfortable about that. Probably won't be up that way again but for an over night it was ok.

Downtown right on river walk.

Check in easy. Staff friendly and helpful. Building is quite old, but room clean and smells clean. Air conditioner in room worked well. Good place if you just need a comfortable place to sleep.
