Convenient, close to casino.

Posted Dec 11, 2014
Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: An extra towel or two in the room would have been nice.
Location: Casino, shopping, fishing.
We stay at the Super 8 because it's close to Little River Casino and a relatively short drive to Traverse City where we like to shop for the day.

Good value and comfort on main road

Posted Oct 21, 2014
Pros: Room decor was what I might expect at a higher priced motel. Fridge and coffee maker in the room a plus, even though coffee was available in lobby.
Cons: It might be difficult to pull off, but more area for serving breakfast would be nice.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was better than we expected and very clean!

Nice hotel near area attractions

Posted Oct 18, 2014
Hotel had a laundry facility for guest use. Breakfast was continental but was gone early. We had breakfast at a local café across the road from the hotels 2 days during our stay. Our key card had to be reprogrammed every time we came back from our daily outing.

Good Value!!!

We arrived very late due to flight delays. The Front Desk Clerk was very friendly and accommodating. After checking in she offered a late check out as we arrived so late. The rooms were very clean a comfortable. There were some very minor maintenance issues but not worth a making an issue.

Northern Michigan visit

Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: I said it all above.
Cons: You need plastic shower liners! Fabric shower curtains get wet, soiled, and smell a bit moldy despite housekeeping's best efforts. Add bananas.
Location: Nice places to walk---boardwalk along the channel, beaches and pier, free music in the park on Tuesday night.
Our first visit was from Monday thru Friday (August 2014) and we were pleasantly surprised. The king room was very nice, comfy bed and pillows, larger TV than the one in the individual queen room (and a frig & microwave), the renovation made the rooms more aesthetically pleasing (and dare I say, "luxurious") than we expected for a Super 8, lots of handy outlets to plug-in devices, good breakfast choices---especially make-your-own waffles, flavored coffee creamers, and yogurts, friendly, helpful front desk person (Diana). We came back on Sunday night and ended up paying the same rate for a single queen and it was very disappointing and didn't seem as comfy or clean as the king room. It may be difficult to maintain the quality of this motel as it attracts quite a diverse clientele including fishermen who dried overalls (or something that clanged loudly) in the dryer outside our room.

Nicht weit zu den Sleeping Bears Dunes

Posted Sep 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
