“DON'T STAY HERE...YOU WERE WARNED HERE”

This place was horrible! We were overcharged by $54.00 - looked like a crime scene. Nothing worked.

“About what I expected, but I wouldn't go back”

Grumpy's is convenient, being just off the service road of I-10, in Flatonia. However, it's obvious that the Inn has been here for years. Although the everything seemed to be in working order, the room showed it's age. The carpet had the look and feel of too many people having been in the room. It was bad enough that I only took my socks off to change to new ones in the morning, and then I made sure that my feet didn't touch anything but my shoes. Just across the parking lot from my room is an all-night truck stop and fast-food restaurant. I could hear the trucks coming and going the whole time I was there. There are cleaner, newer hotels and inns in the area and I will definitely try one of them in the future.
