“Great value, quiet, clean”

I booked a stay here after I saw some good reviews but had missed the bad reviews. So I was apprehensive. Fears unfounded. I agree with some of the reviewers that say some fixtures could be updated but my room was clean and the staff was friendly. I never made it to the breakfast so I can't comment on that but the WiFi worked great. The place is right off the freeway but its tucked almost into a residential neighborhood. It was very quiet. The room had a minor, different smell but it was just that, different ---like I wasn't at home---I didn't give it a second thought. Heater/AC worked great.

“Good for a stopover”

I wouldn't spend a week in this hotel, but it was good for getting some sleep and getting back on the road. Plan on eating breakfast somewhere else.

“Good for sleepoing”

good clean place to sleep. That is all I was looking for. The continental breakfast was a little weak, but it was food in the stomach. Courteous staff, but there was nobody at the front desk for a long period of time in themorning.

“Not impressed”

Although the bed was clean we had to get the cleaning maid to come and clean the dust that had accumulated on mirrors, tv and in the bathroom, I must admit that the cleaning lady was very obligible.

“Mediocre at best.”

The hotel room was overpriced due to the NASCAR races taking place in Darlington, SC. Overall the room was tolerable but could have been much cleaner. The exhaust fan did not work in the bathroom and the TV reception was poor for cable service. The room did have a mini-fridge and a microwave.

“Not good”

The room was dirty. Had to call office to clean tub before anyone stepped in shower. Our non-smoking room smelled like the horrible deodorizer used to cover smoke odors.

“Don't stay here”

Room wasn't dirty BUT it smelled bad -- very musty. Staff were helpful -- offered us another room but it didn't smell any better. They did give me a can of air freshner spray. Bed and pillows were VERY firm. I needed extra pillows and they did find me two -- but they were lumpy. I would not have booked this motel if I had seen the "1" rating -- I thought it was "2." We only needed somewhere to sleep so that we could get back on the road very early the next day and the rate was low, so I didn't expect too much -- but it was below even my limited expectations. I would never recommend it -- or stay in it again. PS The cup of coffee I had in the morning from the lobby was good!
