Great deal for those traveling with a car.Posted May 6, 2014
Excellent stay for two days. Though it is away from the tourist path, and located in a university setting, it worked well for us having rented a car. It was a quick & easy drive to the city center and the Lund Cathedral. At the same time it provided easy access for us to drive to other scenic parts of Skane Lan. All the important amenities were available to us including two meals a day. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Very comfortable hotelPosted Apr 17, 2014
Pros: See above.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: A bit away from the city centre. Easy to get to with a local bus.
Very nice unpretentious hotel with friendly staff and an excellent evening meal included. Will always stay here when in Lund.

Never againPosted May 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
On arrival I was 'upgraded' to an apartment for my 1 night stay. However I had to ask for soap, shampoo, etc as this was not initially provided. However the shower was caked with limescale and smelled of drains. The 'terrace' outside the apartment was covered in weeds. The evening 'buffet' was a joke and I only realised I had eaten asparagus soup when I found a piece of the veg at the bottom of my plate. Breakfast was adequate. The location is right on the edge of town and not convenient for the ecntre of Lund. The staff were very friendly but I would not stay here again.

Highly recommended for a visit to Lund!Posted Mar 17, 2013
Pros: The staff and the home-like touches!
Cons: Although not very modern, they are working on some upgrades that keeps it in the running for a nice hotel option.
Location: Away from City Center, but close to health sciences departments at Lund University and the hospital. Also within walking distance to most everything!
This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel, although this time was for longer. Regardless of whether you stay there for two days or ten, it is so comfortable and as close to home as a hotel could possibly be. Every day you get a very nice, very large breakfast and a "light" dinner, although the buffet-style is definitely enough to keep you full all night! Coffee, tea, and snacks are offered all day long as well, which is nice when wanting to enjoy Sweden's traditional "fika." The rooms are quite large for European standards, and the beds are magnificently comfortable. There is also a laundry room that is available for resident/guest use. Although a bit away from the City Center, the hotel is only a quick 15 minute walk to the train station, and is well connected to everything via bus. (Its location in a nice neighborhood means it's quite quiet.) Perhaps the best thing about this hotel is the wonderful staff--they are all so kind and helpful with whatever may come up or whatever you may need, and are full of suggestions for fun things to see and do while visiting. I would continue to stay here with every visit to Lund just for that very fact!
Enjoy the peacefull nature of this hotelPosted May 24, 2012 on Hotels.com
Other than a need for some updated furniture, this hotel is perfect for us. Kind personal service in lovely surroundings. The short walk to town is through a lovely church garden.
Great ValuePosted May 7, 2012 on Hotels.com
This was the greatest value on our two week trip in Scandinavia. Breakfast and dinner were more then acceptable and a part of the room price.

Pleasant hotel - great servicePosted Apr 15, 2012 on Hotels.com
Will definitely use next time I am in Lund. 5 minute taxi ride from Lund train station, in a residential area. Room was clean, comfortable and well presented, as was the bathroom. Arrived really late at the hotel 11:45pm and were pleasantly surprised to see that the hotel was still serving food and drinks in the bar and restaurant.

Djingis Khan - a compact business hotelPosted Oct 5, 2011 on Hotels.com
Set in the middle of surburbia, the Djingis Khan would be a great compact 3* hotel. Although the looks are nothing special, the staff were extremely friendly. Rooms are clean, with good internet access. The shower was fine, but not very powerful. The great thing about the hotel is they offer a simple breakfast and buffet style dinner included in the price - which is nice if you want something light in the evening. On the negative side, it's not close to the centre of Lund and is in the middle of a housing estate, so there's not much to do without taking a bus/taxi/car. Overall, a fine stopover for a couple of nights, but don't go in with 4* expectations.
