For a value priced hotel it was what we expected. The hotel is showing its age but the staff member who checked us in was very knowledgeable and friendly. The room was clean and the king size bed was very comfortable.

The front counter staff at check-in was wonderful. She was warm and friendly - everything I needed for a night's rest while I left my husband at the ER for a night's rest. The room was dated, but clean. The bathroom had rust stains and drill hotels, but clearly disinfecting. The bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was basic but workable.

Front desk clerk was very friendly and gave us a map of the area. We found the local theatre and enjoyed a movie. We like that there is breakfast included. Our room does not have fridge or microwave because we booked through you.

They shouldn't be open. Desaster, dirty, moldy, bad carpet, you can see the concrete in places, noisy heating. Breakfast, non existent. I am sure, worst hotel in Nova Scotia and one of the worst in Canada! I think, I saw enough after spending around 100 night in hotel rooms per year, in the last 15 years...

Overpriced for basic place
The room was clean and comfortable but basic and a little worn. The rest of the property is definitely worn, and breakfast was just packaged pastries. And for this, the room cost substantially more than the Wyndham property we stayed at one night later that was beautiful and updated. Very overpriced for what it was. The desk person was a bright spot — she was cheerful and friendly.

The rooms didnt have a phone in them so i couldnt contact my family in another room and also to contact the front desk we had to go down, the stairs are located in an inconvenient spot for the rooms upstairs, the breakfast area was a joke with only 2 tables you couldnt get coffee then get toast or anything else because there was no place to set my coffee down. The lady at the front desk when we checked in has got to be the friendliest front desk staff i have ever come across!

This is a decent hotel for a short stay. It's clean and the staff are great. It's in need of some renovation, and it would be great if they replaced all of the old carpets with some new laminate flooring.. limited selection for breakfast . We would come back because it's clean, convenient and the staff are very friendly.

The front desk representative Joanna was outstanding. She was very helpful with my elderly father. She was very friendly and i enjoyed talking to her. She gave us recommendations for places to eat. She truly went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. The hotel and rooms were clean and comfortable. We would definitely choose this hotel afain.

The staff was amazing. Catered to every whim if you just asked. Not much to do in a small town, but it's beautiful. If you're young, you can walk to nearby dining but driving is probably necessary for most.

Our room was full of black mould on the walls, the radiator, by the lights. The entire room and building smelled stuffy and musty and it induced breathing issues and an asthma attack in one of my family members.
