TOO MANY SMOKERS!

Posted Apr 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
Decent hotel for the price but too many smokers! We got a non-smoking room on a non-smoking floor that reeked of cigarette smoke! Good thing we stuffed bath towels under the door and wet paper towels that we brought from home on the sides of the door to prevent smoke from entering our room from the smoky non-smoking hallway! We informed the hotel staff but they did absolutely NOTHING! Thanks for nothing, Jinjiang! We definitely WON'T be going back!

Budget hotel

Posted Nov 5, 2013
The road where the hotel sits on is under construction. Cab driver avoided and not willingly went there. The towels are yellowish with smoking smell. The breakfast buffet is CNY 18 if you stayed in hotel. Good varieties (Chinese/Western) to fill up your stomach. We had 2 dinners in restaurant downstairs. Prices and food were good. The waitress was very polite and helpful. Do not ask front desk to have a car and driver for you excursion. We had a bad experience to go to Shaolin Temple. The driver was pushing us to finish our sightseeing before 3:30pm so that he could avoid busy traffic. In general, it is a budget hotel. There are not too much 3/4 stars hotel there. That is why we picked this budget hotel. It is a Chinese budget chain hotel. If you do not speak or read Chinese, it may be challenges.

Not up to western standards.....

Posted Oct 29, 2013
Pros: Nothing
Poor location in town. Very small rooms. Asked for non smoking and received a smoking room-could smell smoke lingering in the air. Paid for 3 nights-left after the first night and went to Christian Hotel; as standards were not up to a western style hotel. For $30 a night you get what you paid for.

Our room was clean, location is convenient, place could use some updates but it was fine. Breakfast (for just $3) was excellent.

Super hotel for price and central location

Posted Aug 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
My stay was wonderful. The room was spotless, the staff spoke limited English but were very helpful and the location was good for getting to the tourist sights and back and forth to the train station. And was convenient to getting on the bus. No safe deposit box in room or at desk and breakfast was not included but that was no big deal.

Clean & Good Staff Service Hotel

Posted Apr 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
we stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, checked in at around 07.00 pm, check-in & out is fast, reservation was confirmed before arriving. Staff is friendly and speak fluent English, A women working in the restaurant is very helpful, room is clean, and rather new. Although this hotel is not located in the central of Luoyang city but it is convenient to go to any places by public bus and taxi. It is worth for money when you stay in this hotel.
