Recommended: My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel Cravat. The staff was very helpful and the hotel location was very good. It is located on the outer rim of the old city area. It had convieneint access to tours and public transit as well as for just walking around. Not recommended: I think this hotel was sold as a 4star hotel. It did have a marble vanity, but that was the extent of the luxury. The room was small and dingy with a view of the backs of old concrete buildings and their tenants laundry. THERE WAS NO A/C IN THE ROOM!!! The only AC in the building was in the resturant. There is an elevator, but it is the size of a phone booth. The staff was less than helpful. It was an adventure, but not a good deal. See all reviews for this hotel

Recommended: The hotel was a nice surprise. We had a great room with the most comfortable bed. The room was clean and everything was working well. I liked the modern decor. For people who bring a lot of gadgets with them, there were several easily available electrical outlets to use. Although the hotel is not located right in the city center, it only took us less than 15 minutes to walk to the sites. Make sure to eat breakfast there. Their buffet was delicious! Recommended: I was so pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was so conveniently located and reasonably priced so I figured it might be lacking some quality but it was very cozy. The rooms are well laid out and the bathroom was very nice (for a small utilitarian suite). The free internet was a nice plus as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
