great stay, you pay for what you getPosted Oct 30, 2013 on Hotels.com
I have stayed at the Ibis Budget for some time now and i always find the staff to be polite and helpful. The shuttle service (free) is fantastic but if the times do not suit then you can go just in front of the airport and grab one for every 10 minutes.

Great place for location. Just need more staff in mornings. Cafe looked closed out checkout at 12. But lady in reception still got me a coffee on request. Definitely stay again.

You get what you pay for. This Ibis Budget Hotel at Luxembourg airport, and is OK if you only have a quick overnight stay and want to save money. The room was clean, but was equipped like a very simple ship's cabin, comparable to an army barracks room, including the metal bunk bed. The modular shower and sink combination could easily fit into an old-fashioned phone booth. If you are looking for luxury this is not the place for you. It is simple, functional, plumbing and electricals work fine. I just kept expecting an army drill sergeant to blow his whistle and order me to the parade ground for inspection.

Ibis is O.K.Posted May 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
The Ibis Budget is exactly what it says. A hostel type very convenient to Findel Aeroport with easy bus connections to 2 separate lines (9 and 16 buses) to the city center and Le Gare train station. The hotel was supprizinly quiet given its proximity to the airport. I never heard any of the planes landing or taking off. I also never heard any sounds from rooms around me. The front desk was helpful with answering questions etc. Susana was very cordial and helpful especially. Breakfast is no frills but will get you started until you get downtown, I would stay here again since I don't spend a lot of time in the hotel when I travel. It is clean quiet and inexpensive

dreadful and do not recommend.Posted Jun 22, 2012
Starting with the check in - despite having booked via expedia, so paid and every detail with them already which was the case in previous stays - it took about 15 minutes and three different people (two with attitude problems) to check me in! I made a payment with my card and paid for two nights in advance (for the first time in my life with Etap or Ibis) and then second night could not get in the room and had to come down to get my card renitiated. Second day morning around 9:30 to 10 my door was forced twice by the cleaners despite telling them to come back later on and on one of those occasions I was fresh out of the shower! These are the bits that I can remember, and will never stay there again. Do not recommend.

Good value - can recommend but not if you're fussyPosted May 11, 2012
Pros: Good restaurant
Cons: No tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom
Location: 1 minute drive or 10 minutes' walk from the airport, 10 minutes' drive from central Luxembourg City
Very basic but worth the cheap money you pay for it. Comfortable bed, friendly staff, good restaurant in the connected Ibis hotel next door with a 15% discount for Etap guests. The shower was not great because the metal bit in which the showerhead lies was stiff and would not move, with the water shooting 90% outwards, so the only way was to hold the showerhead, and keep turning it on and off as you apply shampoo etc. The TV has lots of channels: French, German, Luxembourgish, Belgian, Dutch, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and English (CNN and BBC1 and BBC2). We didn't have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on that. It's not luxury but has all the amenities you need, nothing went wrong.
