Mar 2012 stay

The hotel was nice and new. Easy to get to town by Bus (stop outside hotel). The 16 bus also goes to the airport. The breakfast was okay but not worth paying extra.

Preferred three+1star business hotel in Luxembourg

Posted Mar 20, 2012
Pros: comfortable room, nice bathroom, good entertainment system and there is even a gym!
Cons: service is not even at par with other three star properties such as the campanile or ibis.
Location: kirchberg plato is my preferred location but might not be to everyone's taste depending where their business is.
New, decent three star hotel with good infrastructure in and out of the room. If it could match the facilities with service it would have been a definite four star property. Already better than many four stars in the city and I would rate at par with Melia and much better than the next door Novotel Kirchberg.

ok for short stays

It was too modern for my taste. The Wifi was very weak. The staff was nice. There was only a single hanger in the room. It was close to the bus line 16, so easy to get to/from the airport.

New modern suite hotel with nice interiors. Was only one problem - it is difficult to find entry in parking first time. It located on another street.

Suite Novotel Luxembourg

Posted Oct 16, 2011 on Hotels.com
Cannot fault the accommodation or service. Perhaps unusually for most guests we came by public transport and the Hotel is not easy to identify or find due to lack of adequate signposting in keeping with the surrounding area. Worse still if you are new to Luxembourg and Google the location the map can direct you to the same address at Ettelbruck which is half an hour away by train. Otherwise very impressed with my first encounter and the concept of Suite Novotel

Suite Novotel Luxembourg

Posted Oct 1, 2011 on Hotels.com
The shower room lacks an extractor fan. The shower is adequate. Notable rarities for the region: a sink in the toilet room; a microwave oven in the sitting area of the suite. The room was comfortable and quiet; however, it is a healthy walk between it and places to dine that are not in the hotel ghetto where the building is located. Rooms facing away from the main thoroughfare where it is located are quiet. Breakfast coffee and breads are good. Staff are cheerful and helpful.

Best use of space

Posted Sep 22, 2011
The check-in staff were very efficient and friendly. The rooms are great and although only medium size are laid out in such a way that visitors can be entertained while another guest is using the bathroom or bedroom. The hotel is located in the area of the European Courts which is a building site at present but this is scheduled to finish early in 2012. The concert hall and a museum are located close nearby. Underground car parking is good with wide spaces. Breakfast is self service and adequate.

Suite Novotel Lux - area under construction

Posted Sep 5, 2011 on Hotels.com
The design of the room is striking and extremely functional - excellent shower, lots of storage space, flexible seating arrangement, well insulated from outside noise. Staff was adequate but not proactive, food for purchase at the hotel was disappointing, "suite" includes microwave, small fridge and sink -- but no dishes or cutlery. Hotel will be a brisk and attractive walk from the city center -- but only after massive construction in the area is completed. Since we had a car, this was not a major problem, and the hotel was a great value for the money. PS - Google Maps does not know the hotel or the address.
