“JV is perfect for a stress-free stay in Luxor”

I picked Jolie Ville for a week's holiday as I wanted to relax with the option of doing as much or as little as I fancied. It's a perfect place to enjoy a stress-free stay - location on its own island in the Nile means there is a great feeling of tranquility, enhanced by wonderful gardens & abundant bird-life. Watching the sunset each evening was fabulous. So glad I stayed here rather than in Luxor town itself - best to avoid all the constant hassling in town, especially from caleche drivers, who were even more persistent/annoying than last time I visited. Jolie Ville is well laid out with comfortable "bungalows" housing the guest rooms. I had a huge room with a large balcony that captured the sun in the morning. Facilities are excellent incl. 3 pools, variety of restaurants/bars & a wonderful spa. Breakfast was awesome - it'd be hard to find a better selection or quality anywhere else in Luxor. There's a shuttle bus into town with a convenient stop by Luxor temple; taxis can be arranged easily, so you can get the most out of your visit. Karnak temple & the West Bank are "musts"! One of the best aspects of Jolie Ville is its staff - everyone was friendly & attentive. Management have clearly fostered a great level of customer service. The general manager himself took time to chat to guests & check that everyone was enjoying their stay, dealing with queries/comments personally - it's something other hoteliers should take note of! I hope to return one day... inshallah!

“Lovely clean friendly hotel away from the street scene in Luxor”

Very pretty hotel and setting. Request the new area. Our room was enormous! Am not sure how rooms were in the older section. Was surprised to see hotel is so spread out with many 2 story buildings instead of a regular hotel. Staff was very welcoming and nice. Had a light dinner in the bar restaurant. Pizza in Egypt! It was very good and our waiter was super nice. Several pools, but although the weather was quite warm, the pool was cold.

“Best location!”

We went to Luxor for a relaxing break and guaranteed sunshine,I must admit that the journey from airport to hotel totally put us off going into town.jolly ville is set on it's own island so no intimidating pestering there!the staff were attentive but not overpowering,all seemed pleased to help especially 'Walid' on an evening!we stopped in 'Nile View'comfort room which I must admit was not 5star(maybe ten years ago), tho the rest of the complex was well kept!tip,even if you are not prone to insect bites ,do spray with good repellant on an evening!
