“We plan to return!!”

The service was wonderful. The complimentary breakfast buffet was amazing. The only issue was the large tour boats docked at and around the facility. Many of the boats kept their engines running. The exhaust fumes forced us to close our balcony doors at night. This didn't happen every night. We'll return when in Egypt again.

“Luxor during the revolution”

We checked it 5 days into the revolution in Cairo but you couldn't tell it from the hotel; smooth and relaxed at 2:00 am check in. The staff were somewhat pre-occupied with their revolution, but they took good care of us for the three nights we were there. We loved it and will definitely stay there when we go back to Luxor, which will be soon.

“Marvelous Hotel”

The Sheration Luxor Hotel was marvelous. I enjoyed my stay very much. My room was facing the Nile River and the sun ups and sun downs made the most beautiful pictures. The service was excellent. The restaurant buffets were very nice and the choices were excellent. I can not wait to go back for a visit.

you just can't miss the view of the Nile setting at the lovely swimming pool. Strongly recommended.

“Good deal in general.”

The price is obviously very good. I suppose they compensate with a double the costs on mixed drinks in the bar area. We made the mistake of ordering 2 drinks that were doubles.....a large bar tab, for 2 drinks. Breakfast excellent and service excellent.

“Comfort by the Nile”

Pleasant and spacious air- conditioned room. Delightful pool areas. Setting on banks of the Nile very attractive. We were made very welcome and comfortable by all the staff and we very much enjoyed many Italian meals.

“Sheraton Luxor”

Visited Egypt with a group of 8 of us. Now while the Hotel looked a bit "tired"; they are doing some renovation on the property. We did all agree that the Hotel grounds and staff were exceptional. That coupled with the value and location make this a winner. If you want 5-Star all around; this may not be the place - but I have no problem saying that I am "picky" - and I was most pleased with my stay.

“Comfortable and Friendly”

A quality hotel, well laid out with very friendly, cheerful and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms with excellent beds. You get a choice of a room in the hotel or a bungalow where the rooms are a little larger. The cleaning staff while evident serviced the rooms swiftly and you don't get the feeling, as with many hotels in Egypt or elsewhere, that they linger for tips. La Mama restaurant offers superb service with large menu, food is great too. Pool & terrace menu a little dull but food is nice enough. Very attentive service around pool areas. The moment you attempt to move a sunbed or umbrella and an attendant is there for you. Two pools, smaller one being warmer and with jacuzzi. Good wireless access to the internet throughout the complex although, as with international hotels, pricey for short periods. Nile view rooms or the terrace are great places to watch the sunset.

Beautiful view of the Nile. Very peaceful. The rooms are very clean with everything you could need. Staff very helpful.
