Great experience with this hotel in the heart of Lviv. Very nice staff! The hotel was very clean! Very comfy bed and size of the room was great. Loved everything about it.

Perfect location
The hotel is very clean. The reception staff were extremely pleasant and and helpful in giving advice and booking taxis etc. The hotel is attached to a Japanese restaurant where breakfast was served. The breakfast was adequate but not as good as i would expect for a quality hotel. Although we ate at 9am and breakfast was till 11am many dishes were nor refilled. The level of service in the restaurant was poor. The hotel is within walking distance of the main attractions but not on a main road so quieter. I would definitely stay again but not with breakfast included

The Rius is a modern hotel in downtown Lviv, which makes it almost unique among the older historic buildings. The room we stayed in was fine with a modern bathroom but the room heating was out of control. It was so hot we left the balcony door open all night to cool the room (it was below freezing outside). The hot water radiator was turned off, the air conditioning was turned off and yet the room was like a sauna - the promised visit by a staff member never eventuated so we just put up with it for one night and then left. The hotel breakfast was free but you need to check the fine print. You’re allowed to spend 175UAH which gives you granola or yoghurt, followed by eggs any style (although scrambled is special order) and two drinks - coffee and juice. Although there is a coffee machine, only espresso and americano is available - no cappuccino or latte. The juice is from a bottle. The good things are that the hotel has working elevators, the reception staff are friendly, there is underground parking ( a true rarity in Lviv) and the location is great. But the hothouse room and attitude of breakfast staff and lack of coffee options mean we’re unlikely to return.

First, I would like to appreciate a mentioning about our breakfast and situation with the bathroom! According to the rules of using conditional system - it should to be off during cold time. If you need fresh air in the late autumn and winter time - just use the window. Its really pity about this situation, in case of any questions you shpuld asked the hotel stuff. They always are able to help the guest. At the same time, its a pity you don’t like the restaurant system. Trust us we would tried to do everything possible to fulfill your needs and try to achieve the highest standards of service. Honestly speaking, we are surprised to read your comment regarding our staff since our guests are the most valuable priority for us and we always strive to provide them with the best personal care possible. Hotel was average, the location is excellent, close walking distance to everything in the old town 5-10 minutes. Restaurant was average and difficult to deal with if you don't speak Ukrainian. Affordable luxury.
Great location central to everything in Lviv. I had a massive room with a huge balcony/terrace. Staff was very helpful, I left my room with a bag of laundry and someone quickly offered to take it without me even having to ask. Very high end hotel - the girl I met there said it’s where all the celebrities stay, so seems a good way to impress a friend. The door handle to the bathroom did fall off, so it wasn’t quite perfect, but that was a small cosmetic issue in a very enjoyable stay.

Nice hotel, poor breakfast.
Very nice hotel close to city centre. If you like Omelet or Humus, order breakfast, if not, do not book breakfast included. Breakfast is served in Va-piano restaurant, very poor service and nothing to choose from in menu except omelet, lasagna, humus, pancake, orange juice.

Certainly one of the best places to stay in Lviv.
Unfortunately after 10 pm, the kitchen is closed. The service personnel is working the Ukrainian way. When the restaurant is closing at 11 pm, the remind you to leave the premises already 20 minutes early. Besides these little small "Ukrainians" our stay was perfect. Good location, large garage, and beautiful rooms. Certainly one of the best places to stay in Lviv.

Freshly restored building right in the city centre, nicely done and very clean. Very friendly staff. Perfect views from a huge open terrace. Yummy and very filling breakfast at the Vapiano right downstairs included in the price. Enjoyed every minute of our stay and would be happy to return any time soon.
