Nice very close to village and lovely walks

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: It was lovely for a country hotel. Quiet and peaceful, nice afternoon tea
Location: Canals walks or a trip on a barge. Head into Manchester or Trafford centre
Very enjoyable over all. Very clean village, lots of places to eat out in. Very reasonably priced

Hotel for one night

Posted Jun 3, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Décor and service
It was fine, but it was a bit tired. Not sure why could not pay on card at bar, but had to go to reception to sort it. Just needs some updating and staff training.

Quiet location with good motorway link

Posted May 15, 2015
Classic double is more like a large single. For £112 not including breakfast I would expect "a lot more" Room was very tired and overlooked the noisy bin and staff recreation area to the rear. Could not request another room as the hotel was full with a coach trip.

March visit

Disappointing vegetarian option with food in the evening. The room looked tired and in need of refurbishment ..in the corridors were trestle table stacked up on the side - not a great look.

Solid Hotel

This is a very traditional hotel that is situated in the lovely village of Lymm. The rooms are of an older décor but are immaculate and the hotel has friendly staff which makes for a great stay. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.

Night away.

Posted Jan 16, 2015 on Hotels
We stayed for one night. The room had a double bed but was small enough to be a single. It was made up for one person. Single set of towels and toiletries. The hotel was not full, so I felt like we had been given the minimum, rather than being given the best available. For that reason we won't be returning or recommending this hotel to others. Breakfast was better than average, which was a really pleasant surprise.

Was ideal - we were home hunting and the Lymm hotel is very well placed for walking into the village

Lymm hotel

stayed while working in area for 2 weeks - food good to very good in hotel (tho breakfast expensive)and lots of pubs and restaurants in town centre - 15 minute walk away - (reasonably steep hills involved)which made eating out easy and varied - tapas to turkish and most pubs had at least some real ale.
