I’ve stayed here almost four or five nights in a row. They normally placed me on the bottom floor. They placed me on the third floor. In a room in between a barking dog. And crying babies. I asked for another room and I was told that there were no other rooms available. I’ve been working extremely hard and this is horrible. But I have no other recourse but to stay. “Shelly “is the supervisor and she is extremely insensitive and rude.

With all do Respect 1st floor is not a requested option. If you arrive to the hotel and there are no first floor rooms available you have to be placed where we have availability.Looking back at your reservations last week you had a 3rd floor room for a guest you paid for then your room was on 1st floor because that's all that was available. Last night you were on first floor again at your check in time that's all that was available. At check in tonight when you stated you wasn't happy with the room Shelly was contacted and instructed the front desk since we have nothing to offer you to check out with refund. You chose to stay that not insensitive or rude

The beds are hard there’s no boxspring just a mattress key cards kept not working in the door certain areas in the hotel smell like pot construction right across the street for the price not worth it and the breakfast was oatmeal and muffins that is crap and when you go to the front desk, there was nobody there you had to wait and wait for somebody to show up. What kind of hotel is this it’s like a trailer park trash hotel. I will never stay there again ever

Before I begin, understand that Shana and the other front desk employees were responsive to my concerns, polite and helpful. None of this is their fault, and I am posting this review to encourage their company to fix problems here. Problems with the room: the room front door has an odd smell. The bathroom sink has a chunk out of it (front desk said corporate knows but hasn't fixed it). There's a dark spot in the shower that makes the shower look unclean. There's no stopper in the sink. There's a line in the bathroom tile where I'm guessing a previous toilet was sealed to the floor. The refrigerator had a sickly smell inside (front desk had it cleaned). Both the office chairs had dirty cushions (front desk replaced them and said corporate was upgrading them to leather ones). The state of the room when I got here was more like a Motel 6, but front desk fixed stuff. The lights are odd: fluorescent ring type. When I got into the room, one of the lamps had the fluorescent bulb just hanging down, which could be a safety concern due to not wanting to break a fluorescent bulb. The hotel staff fixed the problem, but said the bulbs are hard to replace or something to that effect. I wonder if corporate made a bad investment and/or got scammed by a fluorescent bulb company. The hotel claimed to have breakfast, but it's just oatmeal and granola bars, so I don't think that's quite "breakfast." But then Tuesday and Wednesday they didn't even put the oatmeal out, either. Don't bother. It's not worth it.
Worst bed I've slept on in years, and it got worse from there. Not a single thing was in the kitchenette to cook with, eat with, clean with. The pictures show utensils, but there weren't any. Not a pot or pan, no dishes, nothing. Apparently, you have to bring your kitchen with you when you stay here. Loud building (creaks and thin walls), thin blankets, borderline rude check-in staff at night, dark room (so dark!), filthy carpet. We will never stay there again.

We do apologize for any issues that you had. Upon checking in it is explained that kitchen items are at the front desk upon request. The picture in the room also states "The items below are available to use in your in-room kitchen. Please contact the front desk to make your selections, and a dish package will be delivered to your room. For your convenience dishes and utensils have been washed and sanitized."

I loved the friendliness of the front desk as I’m 72 and my apt was 43 degrees inside and my water froze up. The women at the front desk were so kind and understanding as I live on $980.00 a mo disability and social security and I dread going back to my unfinished barn apt that has electrical and cement floors with half the heat and electric is not working. I really am scared to stay there but I have no choice. So enjoyed my 2 nights and it was so warm! Thank you and may God bless!

It wasn’t bad but it did smell a bit like smoke and there was a stain in the mattress under the sheets. I would stay there again because it’s cheap but definitely not a suuuuuper nice hotel.

The hotel is nice, however the staff will harass you pertaining to having everyone that is staying in the room show their ID. I have stayed in many hotels, but I NEVER experience staff members knocking on your door asking for your guest ID. That’s the hotel way of getting more money out of you. The manager must have been checking the video camera to see if my man ID was in their system. When she realized he didn’t present his ID, there is the knock on the door from staff. Mind you, my man didn’t stay the whole duration of the night 😒

This is extended stay policy that all guest over the age of 21 provide valid ID. It is also stated in the guest agreement that was signed at check in. All policies are made aware to guest at check in. If a guest doesn't want to follow policies they shouldn't continue with check in. This is part of our safety and security to know all guest that are in the hotel. Along with the hotel occupancy policy. The guest agreement that was signed also states that if your reservation was booked for the incorrect amount of people your rates would change to accommodate the occupancy change. It dosent matter if your man didn't stay the whole duration of the night he was in the hotel past visiting hours which made him a paid guest.

Less than desirable stay.
The stay at Lynchburg, VA was less than desirable!!!! The price was comparable when I booked but was more expensive when we checked out. The “breakfast” was less than a continental breakfast. Muffins and packaged oatmeal does not constitute breakfast!! It was across the street from Liberty University and below budget. No eating, cooking equipment and no dish cloths! This is supposed to be stocked to cook. Despicable! I was embarrassed for staying there! Bed was very uncomfortable. Bare bones everything. Not even a blow dryer available to use!

The location is ideal for Liberty University, however the property is well below average. The lobby, elevator, hallway and room all smelled of cigarette smoke, with the room also smelling of stinky feet. When inquired about, the room smell was from newly cleaned carpet that was not able to dry as corp allowed them to be fully booked, against their wishes. Whatever the case it was horrible. Our clothes all smelled of it after we left. The tub was dirty, there were no hangers, but a very dusty hanging bar and the linens were stained. Due to a large event other hotels were fully booked and this place cost 200 per night after taxes, never again!!

Entire place smelled like weed, day and night. Bed was super hard and uncomfortable. Nearly impossible to sleep on. Breakfast was supposed to be included. That’s what we paid for. They did a “grab and go” where they offered coffee and granola bars with limited hours. We missed it the first morning. Won’t stay there next time we visit Liberty, despite the convenience to campus. Does not look like photos!!!

The hotel of a thousand smells
The staff was friendly, when we could find them. Our keys rarely worked and the desk usually wasn't staffed. Our TV stopped working and said "NO SIGNAL" a few hours after we arrived. I asked the front desk and they said there was nothing that could do because there wouldn't be any maintenance people in for a few days. However, they compensated us by waiving our $50 pet fee for our dog. Our floor had a strong marijuana smell, except near the trash room where it smelled like garbage. We paid $300/night since it was homecoming weekend at Liberty. Under normal circumstances, I would have left and stayed somewhere else, but it was prepaid through hotels.com. The lobby had another smell that I couldn't place, but it was not pleasant. The pet relief area outside was nice. Lots of doggie bags and grass. I wish it had a fence though. Our corgi needs exercise and he can't get it on a leash.

Not the best choice
There was no one at the desk when I got there and I had to wait a while just to be told I couldn’t check in yet. Then the lobby, elevator, and third-floor hallway all smelled like marijuana many times. It was so disgusting I couldn’t even ride the elevator anymore. My room was musty so I had to keep the window opened yo get fresh air. Apparently a lot of workers just stay there for long periods of time and the overall atmosphere is less than ideal. I don’t think I would stay here again

Second time staying here. I stay due to proximity to Liberty University. Always smells like weed in the hotel and they use a horrible perfume spray to cover up smell in rooms. Very old and dated, breakfast poor, but again it’s all about the location across from football field.

Convenient to Liberty
Shelley was very welcoming! A bit of a hike to Liberty on foot, but definitely walkable.

Booked a King bed got two fulls. Asked for a room away from traffic was assured it was a quiet side. Room smelled like someone spilled a gallon of mistolin lemon scent to cover up something. Carpet was nasty, cabinets were damaged, counters stained, fridge door rusted. Remote control did not work and buttons were grease covered on tv itself. Cringe factor was high. Bedding was tired and worn out. Traffic was loud and place well past outdated. Very disappointing experience is putting it mildly.

I will never stay here again. A razor was left in the shower. The TV didn’t work. The whole place smelled like cigarettes despite having to sign that I wouldn’t smoke on the premises.

Staff were very polite and helpful, rooms were subpar. We had to have our first room switched because it reaked of cigarettes and the bathroom light was disassembled. Our 2nd room smelled clean but it reminded me of cheap apartments. Chipped paint, stained sink, drips of 'paint' on the floor. One of the desk lights in that room was also broken.
