Our stay was fine and staff and room were good. A bit surprised that our room had a shower but not a bathtub - although this was not an issue for us. Was very surprised that when we checked out we were informed that because of our room rate (obtained on Expedia) we did not qualify to earn Choice Privilege Points.

Shower door leaking to floor issues, coffee was on bath sink, which didnt leave room for us to get ready. Hair dryer didnt fit holder well and kept falling. Everything else was great. Clean rooms and plenty of towels.

Clean, comfortable room, smaller than some others but very nice. Staff was courteous and efficient especially the women at the breakfast buffet. Parking was very convenient too. I enjoyed 2 one night stays and returned for the second about a week after the first because I was impressed. Would try other Sleep Inn properties based on my good experience in Lynchburg.

It’s a pretty standard mid-range hotel, and I would have rated it higher if not for two glaring omissions: - the main staircase - the one they feature prominently on their photos - is disgustingly dirty. Not a little dirty - it’s so dirty I wanted to go around it. The rest of the hotel is pretty clean, if a bit dated. - there are no sidewalks anywhere, nor there is a crosswalk to get to LU. I mean, it’s right there, across the street! Why not give people an option to walk to Liberty instead of driving? Granted, it’s not strictly in the hotel’s purview - but the hotel is owned by LU, and LU can make things happen in Lynchburg if it wants to.

I guess you get what you pay for -- the person at the front desk was NOT into customer service. Stair and hallways had cracked / broken walls. While my bed was clean, the bathroom sink was dirty from the LAST guest. But again, maybe this is what you get for $82 per night.
