Central hotel with great family feeling

Posted Mar 31, 2015
Pros: The staff and the breakfast.
Cons: Needs a reno to upgrade.
Location: The location is near to shops and restaurants and quite close to Seattle.
We enjoyed the stay. Although the hotel will be going through a reno soon, It was still clean and the staff were helpful and pleasant. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

no free wifi

Posted Mar 28, 2015
Cons: add free wifi
The room was adequate but the bed was not a true queen in width and there was no free wifi which was not sensible in a hotel which seemed to focus on the business traveler. There also seemed to be a fair amount of families and I am sure this was not expected by them either.

Loved the Hotel. Free breakfast was amazing. Rain leaked through window and soaked floor underneath it. Couch bed very uncomfortable. Other beds amazing. Pool was great. Lobby was beautiful.

Little far from down town.

Everything was great until breakfast, good selection. But not great on the palette sausage was cold and mushy, not sure it was cooked completely, we sat in the restaurant during breakfast because the seating in the dinning area was full and chaotic. The resturant had no lighting at the entrance, hence we didn't know if the sausage was cooked properly. Everything else was mediocore we settled for a bowl of cereal with warm milk. The rest of our stay was a joy, and the service was great. Next time we will eat out and skip the complimentary breakfast.

Scolded like a child by manager!!!!

Posted Mar 16, 2015
i stayed here in Jan had a great time, came back in March only to be told my credit card would not be accepted because it was a prepaid one the same card i used to pay for the room on expedia that morning. I was confused since it was the same guy checking me in as last time and the same card i used last time...he finally got a manager and i was scolded like a child i was told I'd never be allowed to use that card again, it was being noted on my file that i have been told so i don't try it again..i was appalled I'd never been treated this way...i didn't know i couldn't use a prepaid card since i just used it in jan. Find a better option not worth going through this again!
