Convenient and economicalPosted Mar 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
We wanted a convenient and economical apartment to visit Lyon and my son who is living in Villeurbanne. Room 403 has a small terrace which was great for morning and evening eating. Kitchen is small but adequate Bed is a sofa bed but mattress was comfy. Great location for us only a 20 min cycle ride into the city (also very easy to get metro). We enjoyed Lyon a lot. Basic room service but that is what keeps overall cost down. We had a great stay and would use appart'city in other locations

Nice hotel, but not really a 3-starPosted Jul 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The stay would have been great if the internet was working. I could understand if I was just unlucky and happened to get there just as the internet had broken down the day before, however, I was told that the internet went down 3 days before I had gotten there and the hotel had no idea when it would be back again. One of the reasons that I chosen this hotel over others was because it offered free internet. This reason along really disturbed my stay has I had counted on the internet to make the rest of my travel plans. As for the amenities of the hotel, things were good. The bathroom was large and they hotel provides soap and bathgel. However, the bedding was lacking. The hotel provided blankets like they do in student dorms and not real bedding.

the most frustrating experience in my lifePosted Jun 14, 2012 on Hotels.com
On our way to Marsaille, we had prebooked this hotel for a night as we were driving from Paris. We had no idea that the after check in time, the hotel will be completely closed. The only way to get in is if they text you via your cell phone the code to get into the front door and to your room. We did not have a readily available cell phone to use on our trip. We didn't even get an email with the code info and were practically stranded on the street until midnight after 4 hours of driving on the road. Eventually we sorted out the phone ordeal and got a hold of someone by calling the telephone number provided. We settled in a room (suite) with no bath towels, the bed is a roll out sofa bed that makes squeaky noises, the pillows were flat and worst of all, the room smells like smoking when we booked a NON SMOKING room. It was so hot and muggy, we had to open our windows because there's no ventilation. They didn't even have a screen for the windows. the price of staying at this hotel was to put up with a whole night of loud noises, muggy temperature, and a hand towel to use as bath towel, and in a room wreaked of smoke. I will NEVER, EVER stay here again. It was a nightmare, we checked out as early as we could. RUN if you can. This place is NOT worth it.

Enjoyed my stay. Close to metro and a short distance to shopping, food and entertainment.
