Pros: Position
We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. The position is central near 2 metro stations and the Tourist Office on Place Bellecour. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was pleasant.

Ideal location

Posted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: Location
Cons: Air conditioning
Location: Lovely large squares, old town area with historical buildings, two rivers to stroll along.
After one uncomfortable night when the air conditioning did not work, we were moved to a much nicer room with air-con

Good location

Pros: Location. Free Wi-fi. Good shower. Fridge in room.
Cons: Towels a bit small. Couldn't work out how to use air-con.
Location: Right by Place Bellecour. Easy walk to Hotel de Ville and Vieux Lyon.
Clean and comfortable hotel in an old building. Room was too warm at times as radiator wouldn't turn off so had to open windows at times. Bathroom had bath and powerful shower. Good Wi-fi. Breakfast ok but there is a good cafe across the road. Location on Presqu'Ile is very central.

nice hotel in a good location

Posted Mar 22, 2014
Pros: service -- rooms and staff
Cons: the only real problem would be in the bathroom --
this hotel is in a good location for lyon -- close to the metro and with in walking distance to most restaurants and attractions price for the hotel rooms were very reasonable bathroom needs attention --- great size and facilities but when showering -- due to no shower curtain and or divider all the water ends up all over the bathroom floor wetting everything around -- it takes just as long to clean up the mess on the floor afterwards

Good location, reasonable price, ok features

Posted Mar 1, 2014
Pros: Location. The cost is reasonable and well scaled for Lyon to what you find here. I will aim a little higher next time I am in the city.
Cons: The interior was a bit worn. Some rooms were being painted during my stay, and if that comes along with other cosmetic touchups like carpets, great.
Location: Very close to Place Bellecour. One can do what one really should in Lyon: eat!
The hotel was acceptable for a few nights while doing business in Lyon. It is walking distance from quite a number of good restaurants and public transportation. It was clean, but a bit spartan.

Great location

Close to metro and to the old city. Take the funicular or walk up the hill for spectacular views. If interested in running or biking, there are great paths by the river, a 5 min walk from the hotel. The hotel is fine and the location is extremely convenient.

Good for family or group of friends

We booked what we thought was a room with two double beds, which turned out to be sort of two rooms, one with a double room, the other with twin bunk beds (but no windows). Since we were two adults, at first we were upset. However, we got used to it and the staff were so helpful when a problem arose with our next hotel that I increased the rating. NOTE: the old city is across the river, which is a short walk. The hotel itself is on a semi-pedestrian shopping street close to the main square and the metro.

Great Location, Great value

Pros: Rooms, bathroom, Staff
we stayed here in august for 2 nights, in a triple room, which fitted the three of us comfortably plus our suitcases. The beds were comfortable - our room faced an internal courtyard and so was very quiet. The bathroom was wonderful - generous in size with a lovely bath - shower over bath that worked very well. Staff on checkin were welcoming and stored our baggage on departure day. Definitely recommend - location perfect for seeing everything in Lyon.

Pros: Location on pedestrian mall.
Cons: Hard to drive up to. It looked like pedestrian only. They should tell you it is OK to drive to the door to drop off luggage. You have to leave your ca
Location: The shops close early, but many restaurants within walking distance.
Nice, comfortable large room, quiet a/c, beautiful bathroom - good water pressure, shower and tub!
