good hotel but out of the town centrePosted Oct 4, 2013
Pros: Beautiful garden a shame we went late season and couldn't sit out.
Cons: Complimentary teas/coffees in rooms The price of biscuits/crisps/sweets in room very expensive as was breakfast.
Location: The main attraction would be the large park across the road from the hotel.
Four night stay at this hotel with my husband and son late September booking. Very few tourists at this time. Overall a good hotel although at 20 euros per person the cost of breakfast seemed a bit excessive. A little light on complimentary teas/coffees in room. We arrived to two tea bags and one small milk carton for a room of three!! Staff very friendly and welcoming. Quite a long walk into town centre.

Pros: Steam room and sauna.
Cons: That you had to pay for wifi $14 Euros
Location: Great location close to train station shops.
Rooms were nice and big. Furnishing old school but still nice. Staff were great and were helpful. Food at the hotel was amazing.

Brilliant find!Posted Aug 9, 2013
Amazing amount of space in this hotel! We stopped en-route to the south for a holiday and the executive suite we had was bigger than the holiday cottage we had for the week - and cheaper per night! Lovely park across the road and the zoo was great, just what we needed. Cooking utensils etc were a bit limited and chipped though - OK as we only stayed 2 nights but would have been a pain if trying to self cater for a week

Only place I could find at a low rate in ZurichPosted Aug 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Large rooms, nicely decorated. I found it a little difficult to find by foot. Its about a 3 minute walk from S7 train or 7 min from the S5 train I don't think it has AC as the room temperature never dropped below 25C. Its easier to find the hotel when taking the S7 train from Zurich HB. When walking from the hotel to train station and riding to Zurich HB it takes from 15 to 30 min. If they would have charged a fair price for breakfast I would have tried it, but at 30 franks/person, too exspensive for me; wife and three kids. The COOP outside of the train station is a good place to pick up food for a reasonable price. We bought Yougurt, bread, cheese, fruit and some deli meats for 30CF and fed the 5 of us for the same price as one breakfast at the hotel.

A Treasure in elegent settingPosted Jul 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our "room" turned out to be a one bed-room apartment. Beautifully and thoughtfully appointed. Undergroind garage is just what the doctor ordered. We travel with our own auto. The hotel is not in the center of the city. Internet connection is extra. City of Lyon is a jewel. Mysteriously overlooked! Hotel displays its 4 stars. It is worth more.

lovely, calm hotelPosted Jun 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
A lovely calm hotel (particularly the garden) in a great area. The suite we had was roomy and quiet, and beds were comfy. We enjoyed the hotel and will return again.

As hotels in Europe go, this is very spacious and luxurious place to stay at. Highly recommended.

Good Hotel, Great StayPosted Mar 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very nice hotel near the downtown shopping district (20 minutes). Very clean, large room at a reasonable price (3 guest suite with kitchenette). Breakfast is too expensive at 20 euro each, we opted for juice and pastries from a shop down the street. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room super clean. A little dated and could use a little freshening up. A beautiful walk to the shopping district where you can get groceries and a great Irish Pub (Flanigans).
