“Location, view and helpful staff”

maastricht is a delight to visit and the Crowne Plaza is a great hotel to enjoy. The location across the river in the Wyck area is delightful. Get a room with the river and town view. Great shopping and wonderful restaurants just blcks from the hotel. staff was wonderful. I got a severe migraine during my stay and the staff helped my husband to direct him to get medication from the hospital along with some extra time at check out to allow the medicine to work before checking out. You remember a place when everything goes quite well, but you are grateful for the ones that take care of you when things aren't totally 100%. Comfortable rooms and very convenient to the train station. Only a few blocks walk from the train.

“Excellent Hotel”

Modern, clean, comfortable, great location, very friendly and helpful staff. We did not eat at the hotel and thus cannot comment on its restaurant.

“Great location, clean hotel”

We were traveling with an infant and the hotel staff were very gracious in accommodating our requests (baby bed, etc.). Everything was clean and functional. The age of the property was apparent — some things had a bit of a worn-out look to them — but not in any way that affected our stay or gave us concern about cleanliness. Our river view room on the 2nd floor was relatively quiet. There was some noise from passing boats but that is to be expected. We were concerned about reports from other guests that noise from the bar could be a problem, however during our stay we never heard anything. I visited the bar at around midnight on Friday and it only had a handful of older couples quietly sipping glasses of wine, so perhaps it's only a problem when boisterous groups happen to be staying in the hotel. It is definitely not the sort of bar any local resident would ever visit — it has a strong hotel bar feel. The location was very convenient; easy to make it on foot from the train station with light luggage and a stroller; a large supermarket around the corner; two pedestrian bridges to the historic old town within a few minutes' walk.
