First the good: location is great - right on the edge of the river. Excellent buffet breakfast which was the only meal we ate in hotel. Staff were very pleasant. The bad? We booked the junior suite for our family of 4 and thought the listed queen size beds were actually full size beds. Great for intimacy but maybe not if youre sharing the room with your teenage kids. Parking wasn’t that easy either - the main garage entrance was broken and we had a bit of an adventure trying to find the other entrance weaving through some very narrow alleys before finally figuring out the right way to go. Overall good central location but we’ll see what other options available next time were in town

The hotel lobby still needs a little style lifting, but the bedrooms were nicely renovated. Conveniently located and well priced.

Ontbijt was erg goed verzorgd maar s'nachts geen oog dicht gedaan i.v.m veel lawaai bij het hotel en ondanks dat de verwarming uit was, was het erg warm op de kamer.

Very disappointed in this hotel, service in both the lounge bar and dining room was terrible. Made a dinner reservation and was seated without menus or drink orders, left after waiting 30 minutes. We were ignored in the lounge bar after ordering drinks, finally served after complaining to the manager. Overall the hotel was very dated and tired. Curtains in our room was hanging off the rail. Cheap plastic cups in the bathroom and no glasses in the room. I definitely would not recommend this Hotel .

A great location for visiting Maastricht, particularly if you have a car as they have a secure car park. A family room was ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. Very good breakfast and able to eat late. English tourists won’t have any TV options to keep the kids entertained, so be prepared in advance.

I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room and service. There was four of us and we kept getting only two towels and two bottles of water. We asked for the room to be cleaned every day and only the bare minimum was done and my sons could do a better job with making the beds. However, the food at the bar and the service there was great.

There was construction taking place at the hotel and they put me in the room directly beside the demolition. It was so loud the gentleman at the front desk could not hear me on the phone. Their idea of solving the problem was to move me the next day, charge me full price for that room and NOT charge me for the new room that was a slight upgrade. Really...???

the window frames are not properly insulated and get extremely cold and collect condensation dye to warm temperare inside. this could cause mold in the long run.

Fantastic
We had a lovely room overlooking the river. The room, and its facilities, were just right. We were in a part of Maastricht that we had not explored before and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel was a short and enjoyable walk to the centre. We thought that the hotels greatest asset were its staff who were absolutely brilliant.. The breakfasts and evening meals, especially the Andre Rieu special, were to be highly recommended. We will miss the Crowne Plaza, and its staff. We will be back. In the meantime, all the best.
