Great Location

Went to Maastricht to see Andre Rieu concert. This place is In the town centre and about 5 minutes walk from main square. Also able to walk to this "hotel" from railway station in about 15 minutes. The place is small with @ 4 rooms above a restaurant, no reception but this is no problem. You just call a number and most likely the restaurant is open anyway. The room itself was lovely with sitting room and bathroom. Breakfast is not provided but there are ample places around to eat. Slight downside is that being in centre does mean it can be noisy. We would go back.

Great for those who like to be self sufficient.

Cons: Not an issue for me but there are stairs upto the first floor and second floor which may be a problem for some.
Rather than this being a hotel, le virage has four self contained rooms above a resturant. I stayed in one of them. I arrived during the day when the restruarnt was closed but there was a clear telephone number to call and the owner came very quickly to let me into my room. The location is excellent, in the beautiful cobbled central part of Maastricht. I didn't have an issue with noise as it is on a quiet corner. As a female lone traveller I felt very safe. The room had everything I needed, tea making facilities and free wifi and the ability to buy wine by the galss from the resturant and take up to the room although there was a fridge if you wanted more food and drink than that. Would be an ideal place to book all four rooms if you are going in a group.
