The only reason I did not give it a five star: in the mornings I woke up early and went up to have breakfast. I tried to pick a a cup of tea and some fruits for my wife, who does not like elevators (the restaurante is in the top floor) and I could not. The hotel has a policy in place that prohibits anyone of taking any food or drink away from the restaurant, even if breakfast is already included in the room price! This is the most ridiculous policy I have ever seen in a hotel!

SOME of the staff was very friendly and attentive. Had some internet issues and they moved quickly to resolve. Major issue with cleanliness, it the first room I was assigned, while unpacking my clothes and putting in closet, i found a plastic bag inside and upon checking there was a CONDOM in the bag.. This obviously left me doubts as the cleaning staff capabilities. There was also an alarm that tripped at least once a day, very annoying after a 36hr journey, where I wanted to rest for meetings the following day

Tired and dated.
Hotel is very tired and dated now. Lots of things not working or broken. Guess we were a bit unlucky because restaurant was shut for refurb. Breakfast delivered to room was pretty poor.

Comfort eta conhecido como um dos melhores hotĆ©is de macae. Deixou muito a desejar. Paredes trincadas e caindo aos pedaƧos. Teia de aranha nos corredores. PedaƧo da parede no chĆ£o nĆ£o foi varrida a semana inteira. A porta do quarto parecia que estava solta. Cama bem dura. Wi-Fi pĆ©ssimo tambĆ©m. Tentamos trabalhar do hotel (home office), e nĆ£o conseguimos. ƚnica coisa boa durante a estadia foi serviƧo - fomos muito bem atendido pelas pessoas da recepĆ§Ć£o, simpĆ”ticos e educados.

Initially impressed, consequently disappointed. We got a queen sized bed but bedding seemed for a double bed. They quote water conservation but the toilet only had option to fully flush. Tried to book a taxi on departure and was given 2 taxi company cards. One did not respond the other was unobtainable. When we asked for the desk staff to phone for us they declined. We were fortunate that an Uber driver dropped someone off while we waited and agreed to take us. Abysmal treatment, never experienced this in my life travelling around the world for 20 years. On a plus size, great location, great breakfast.

As expected
Comfortable and nice hotel. However, for the money i paid, i did not want to hear the excess drilling and building works during the day. It was very disruptive. A cash machine near the hotel would have been appreciated.

Very nice Hotel
I was traveling on business and unfamiliar with the area. I was quite surprised with how nice the hotel was overall. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were very nice and clean. There were some good restaurants within walking distance which was very convenient. There's a lot of construction around but there's a very nice walkway along the beach side which was extremely nice to enjoy the evening and get around.

Best location in Macae for business or pleasure but like everything in Brazil we need to question value for money ... But this may not necessarily be the fault of the hotel itself.

Nice Basic Hotel
Good basic business hotel on the beck with excellent breakfast - what more could we ask for. Would certainly recommend on a visit to Macae but not suitable for Rio commute so be aware when booking for the World Cup!!!!

Stayed for a week - all good - minor complaints
All round the hotel is pretty decent. Most rooms apart from the high dollar front facing ones have a fair to good view of the ocean. The higher the room number on each floor the better the view (ie - 216 is better than 212). I found the beds were firm but reletively comfortable - my complaint here is the matress cover felt like it was made from vinyl and made one sweat a bit.The staff was very nice and accomodating. The pool sucks, it is small and has an 8 foot plexiglass wall around it - nobody was ever up there. The breakfast buffet was acceptable with nice breads, an omlet station and a reasonable selection of cheesesm meats etc. I had most of my meals at outside restaraunts. I did however check out the buffets prior to leaving the hotel and they generally looked to be good. Lets face it, You don't come to Brazil for the food. The beach strip has plenty of decent restaraunts to choose from and is comparitivley safe.

Just fantastic
In front of the beach, so, the view of the room was nice. Clean and organized hotel. Just some delay until they find my reservation (people a little bit confused there). Nice breakfast and fantastic dinner. The guy of the parking lot was very, very gentile and good educated (I was surprise) I recommend to anyone.

Hotel was nice. Desk staff spoke English. Bed mattress a bit firm for my liking, but room was clean and comfortable. Great shower head! Internet/WiFi worked well. Would like to have more English speaking TV channels. Great evening buffet in the restaurant. Hotel is within walking distance of some other nice restaurants and bars. View of the beach is nice.

Great for my business trip
Hotel was centrally located for my various meetings, spaced over 5 days. The room was large and comfortable. I was happy there was an iron and ironing board in the room. The staff were very polite, friendly and professional. Having the beach opposite was a great plus. Recommended place to stay.

Good location, beach front close to offices. Nice room, big, blackout curtins. Pillows ok, and pillow case was dirty. Breakfast not very good. Other services (spam gym, very good) The check in was dificult, I paid in advance and had to wait 30 min for them to fin my reservation.
