the best value 4-star hotel with a pool!

Posted Jul 13, 2014
Pros: service is exemplary. got an upgrade to a suite. housekeeping is lovely. buffet breakfast is only 50 MOP, a great bargain for a 4-star hotel!
Cons: it's part of a huge chain of hotels. facilities slightly old but acceptable. revolving restaurant on top could use some renovation but has great views
Location: there's a 7-11 in front of the hotel, very convenient and it seems they're the only hotel who has one
fantastic hotel. best value considering they have more competitive prices than other 2, 3-star non-chain hotels in macau. go figure. walking distance from wynn and star world which have shuttles to galaxy and venetian

You get what you pay for close to city center

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Well located, within 10 min walk to Casino Grand Lisboa. Staff were attentive, as they responded quickly to requests.
Cons: Room needs reno. Air conditioning needs to be fixed. Wireless internet is weak.
Location: Near center of town. Can walk to most of the casinos in the old town as well as many of the sites like Largo Do Senado. Also near restaurants & shops.
Hotel room was tired. Peeling wall paper, stains on carpet, etc., but bed & linen were fine. Paper thin towels but hot water and toilet worked fine. However, no temperature control on the air conditioning. We were told to shut it off if too cold.

Not a 4-star hotel

Posted Feb 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
The rooms are old and the hotel is not well organized. Wifi was slow. There was no central heating, but they did bring in a space heater when I requested it. The lights are all controlled near the bed including the bathroom light. There are almost no outlets. They all say for hotel lamps only except for one which is located near the entrance. Not a convenient place to plug your phone in.

Short stay near old part of Macau

Posted Feb 16, 2014
Pros: Convenient Location, not far from Ferry Terminal and old part of Macau. Meet the value.
Cons: A bit brighter lobby.
Location: Walking distance to Old part of Macau and to Wynn & Lisboa casino. 10 min to Ferry by free shuttle.
Weather was nice. Enjoyed walking from hotel through old part of Macau, Senado square, Ruins of St. Paul, Mount Fortress, etc. and new Lutus shaped Gran Lisboa hotel & Wynn Casino. You can feel historical part of Macau.

Great hotel at the price

A great budget hotel. For those looking for a cheap stay in Macau just for a place to crash, go for it. The rooms are great and well kept. Quite spacious. No breakfast with the rooms I took but I could make do with my own food. The best part is the location. Its in the heart of Macau peninsula. Very close to the ferry terminal and all the attractions and casinos in the peninsula. They even have a shuttle from the ferry terminal. Highly recommended for budget travellers who want a great place to stay. Free wifi in the lobby with reasonable signal in your room at times.
