After the bad experience we had in staying in a Hampton in downtown Memphis this hotel restored our faith in Hilton. Everything was good

Staying on the weekdays is nicer. Staying on a weekend very loud. Our TV didn't work they didn't offer to do anything the king size bed very uncomfortable.

Macon is not considered a safe place anymore. We felt we were in a good area and a safe, clean environment

The room was nice, recently renovated. The TV package that they subscribe to did not have a lot of options. Guess if you travel now, need to bring a Roku or Fire stick

Rooms are very small - only one chair in room, could use two so person doesn't have to sit on bed. Breakfast ok not a lot to choose from.

The person that was there when we checked in was very nice then another women was there after checking in and she was not very nice when we asked her a questions she is definitely in the wrong type of work

This is the second time we stayed at the Macon Hampton Inn. The hotel is clean and safe. Located near fast food restaurants and a Kroger grocery store directly off of the main highway. The staff is friendly. This is also a pet friendly hotel which we appreciate.

Wet carpets in rooms - yuck!
The property had just cleaned the carpets in the rooms when I stayed here. They mentioned the carpets were damp, but that was an understatement. They were very wet. It was uncomfortable walking around and the socks I had on that were once white turned a gross shade of yellow. They should not rent out rooms that have just been serviced in this manner. It makes for a very unpleasant stay for the customer.

Very disappointed in the Hampton Inn. I paid for two rooms via Expedia. Upon arrival to the hotel, they charged me another $160 that had to be reimbursed. The staff was discourteous and unattractive. We had a non smoking room that was dirty and smelled like very heavy cigarette smoke. I do not recommend this stay.
