We travelled to the south of France and used this hotel as a half way stopover. Value for money was good. We were surprised at the quality which was better than we thought it would be. The reception staff Karl (the young man with spiky hair) was especially helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast worth the extra cost. Also the young lady on reception was very helpful when we left.

We stayed twice, one night on our way to and then another coming back from the Riviera. Rooms were acceptable and clean; there were a couple of minor issues that didn't really bother us, such as the TV not working in one room and the hot/cold indicators missing from all taps in another. The surroundings were nice for a motel, particularly on one side of the building, with a grassy field with some trees and lots of wild flowers. Of all the motels in the area this looked to be the nicest, particularly for families who don't really want to be surrounded by lorry drivers (no offence- my grandfather is a lorry driver).
Garage nearby (walking distance).
The restaurant was over-priced for what it was; 2 of 4 meals were not enjoyed. The chicken and pork of the day options had the same (cheap) curry sauce on them, and the fish of the day was battered and in a bland butter sauce- it tasted like it was store-bought cook in the packet fish. The food reflected the fact that it was a motel restaurant, the price however did not!

We were very pleased with this hotel. Our room was sparking clean. It looks as if the hotel had a recent remodel as everything looked new and updated. We had a lovely view of the river. There are double windows to block the noise of the street traffic. In just minutes walk you'll find old town with restaurants and historical sites. Daniel, the wonderful manager, gave us a map and great suggestions.

This hotel was relatively new so the rooms were good size. The bed, bathroom and TV were also quite new. The receptionist was very kind and helpful. I think he had only been on the job a few weeks. However there was one problem - with all the rooms. When you want to close the door, the mechanism sticks, so you really have to close the door hard to get it to close. And some people were having problems with this, so at night a couple of times you would heard people having to slam their door 5-10 times really hard (and getting frustrated) to get it to close. It was a bit disconcerting. About a half-mile away was a mall with a gigantic store - grocery store and lots of other stuff (sort of like a large Wal-Mart in the US). There are no walkways to stroll around the neighborhood, as this is a hotel for us by cars only.
