Property was awful. Broken stuff everywhere. Smelled like mildew. Horrible customer service. Over charged me for a fee not disclosed and Property won't make it right. Do not stay here.

We had to move from one room to another due to bed arrangements. The 2nd room/condo was ok...but no places to put luggage or hang anything up, unless it was in the hallway. The one bed was pushed up to the wall so you had to climb in. It definitely needs updates and a table that doesn't wobble. We were called after and said that housekeeping said they found pet hair in the room, however we didn't have any pets. Very disappointing overall. They also did not disclose the cost of cleaning until we checked in.

$95 cleaning fee for 2 nights for 2 ppl, no pets
We booked our stay through Hotels.com and when we arrived the resort said we needed to pay additional $105...$10 parking and $95 CLEANING FEE for a 2 NIGHT STAY. Unit 501 was nicely decorated and comfortable but it needs a good dusting and the bedspread needs to be washed. The location is great and we had a nice ocean view but $95 for a cleaning fee for a 2 night stay for 2 people with no pets is bit steep for a unit that wasn't entirely clean.

This property is 1 block from John's pass, on the marina and across the street from a public beach. Next door is Mad fish house restaurant which was excellent. The condo was clean and a nice balcony. Location was perfect. The only negative ( not the properties fault) The smell from low tide was awful.

The property was a bit dated and didn't have many amenities. However, our unit was spacious and had almost everything we needed, including beach chairs. Cleaning prior to our arrival could've been better. The pictures of the pool were a bit deceptive as far as the size but the hot tub was nice. Located close to a nice shopping area and walkable to many area locations.

Beautiful apartment with a great view. The room and resort were very clean and the staff was amazing. I’m looking forward to visiting again in the future. Highly recommend these accommodations!

Love this place.
Loved this place the best hotel i have stayed in. The room did not dissapoint at all, and it was within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. Beach access was a stones throw away. A great location.

Unexpected charges, staff stated it was a house keeping fee however housekeeping never came in during our stay. And over it was disappointing. Room was outdated and dirty.

Housekeeping is done between guests. There is a one time housekeeping fee. This is stated when booking. We will see which unit you were in and request a deep clean.

We stayed here recently Wednesday-Friday the condo was fairly clean, comfortable king size bed, convenient location just a short walk to John Pass and the beach. Mad House Seafood restaurant was delicious. What we didn’t enjoy was the bathroom towels were so rough, both kids twin size beds weren’t comfortable my kids felt springs poking at their back, broken beach chair, ripped beach umbrellas, washer and dryer had so much sand in it, kids got bug bites just hanging out on the couch watching tv. By Friday night, it got so noisy with next door neighbors screaming, shouting, storming up and down the hallway pass 1 AM. Would not stay here again.

Decent stay, close to the beach and John's Pass
Our condo was okay, but definitely needs a refresh and a good deep cleaning. The entire "resort" itself needs an updating. I put resort in italics because really this is a privately owned condo building. It's a great location, walkable to John's Pass and the beach. I most likely would choose a different resort next time.

Beautiful Oceanview! 2/2 at the 602 room was enjoyable! Perfect walk to the warm Gulf beach, and to John’s Pass Village & Boardwalk. Our favorite restaurant, Friendly Fisherman’s Seafood. We found a treasure chest in Madeira Bay Resort! We will be back next year. Thank you for the experience! 🙏👍

The hotel location was great! Bring your own toilet paper, laundry soap, and dish soap. The hotel is right across from the beach!

Property was in very good condition, clean. Unit was very clean, well stocked, newish appliances, everything worked. I wish it had a bit better equipment in the fitness centre.

The Staff was Amazing. Mr. Ron took such good care of us during our stay and also Patryck and Julie. We had a wonderful experience. The room was very nice but very dark and the view was just onto Gulf Blvd. We did not realize we had to bring our own shampoo and soap and beach towels. Mr. Ron provided what he was able too. I most likely won’t stay here, again. The front desk staff that checked us in was nice, and I liked how there were plenty of parking places. We didn’t have a hard time finding a parking spot, ever. However, I’m unsure how clean our room is. Tub and toilet looked nasty. I don’t think it has been scrubbed, ever. Maybe a whole bathroom renovation is what it needed. I liked the kitchen. It looked up to date. Also, we never had hot water in our shower through out our entire stay. The water just got warm, and that was it.

Close proximity to the beach and John's Pass Boardwalk. The rooms were big, clean and comfy. There was also washer/dryer and a full kitchen. I wish we would have booked here for our entire trip. A couple downsides are the pool is small and we couldn't get the TV to work.

Too high cleaning fee
We thought we were paying for a Hotel and traveled without toiletries; we found no toiletries and were hit by an additional $178.00 for “cleaning services” so we ended up spending way above planned for a two nights stay. However The condo was very nice!

Well kept, very clean. Rooms excellent with everything you would need. Walking distance to John's Pass, across street from beach (very short distance). Next to a good restaurant with good music while sitting at pool. Not far from other activities and attractions.

People using the pool area that were staying at the resort left a lot of trash. But over all the stay was wonderful.

Nice big rooms, kitchens have everything you need to eat in rather than out every meal. Pool area and hot tub are nice, not very big so they get full quickly, but nice to have in addition to the nearby ocean. The ocean was truly a 3 minute walk from the room, so nice!

We were placed in an "upgraded" room, which meant we didn't get the one bedroom with a view of the bay. We got a second floor room in the tree tops, on a busy street with no sunshine coming in. Staff was initially very unhelpful, I contacted Expedia and after they talked with you we were offered a different room which was much nicer.

There was very, very noisy construction across the street. The traffic noise from the 5 lane highway in front of the property is 24/7. To get to the Beach You have to cross 5 lanes of traffic. The sunsets and Beach are great, but I wouldn’t stay again because of the noise.
