very nice hotel...BUTPosted Jul 11, 2013
Pros: location to I-10, VERY clean
Location: only there for 3 1/2 hrs
everything about hotel was perfect, watched maid clean a room across the hall from our room for a minute, she was doing EXCELLENT job, even opened drawers and wiped edge of drawer and insides the drawers...AGAIN EXCELLENT...only two problems, 1: way overpriced for the location $119.99...wouldn't have paid price except for this reason and that is problem #2, 2: we were traveling late, googled location of hotel..we got wrong location, it was 11:20 P.M., stopped to get food, re-googled location, found out it was 4 HOURS AWAY instead of 40 minutes like we thought...we immediately called back to cancel...and the hotel wouldn't let us cancel...NOT EVEN OUT OF COURTESY...we ARRIVED at hotel at 4:06 A.M.....don't know what problem was but EXPEDIA internet said all hotels were booked, so this is the only one that came up available, so we googled, it came up 40 mins down road.....THAT IS MY ONLY PROBS WITH THIS HOTEL....but i did notice when return home that hotel was called dishonest by one expedia reviewer.....SO WITH MT BEST WESTERN EXPERIENCE, i will NEVER stay at a best western again !!!

O.K. place to sleep-over, but that is all.Posted Jul 1, 2013
Pros: It was well-arranged and clean.
Cons: Install a WIFI system for the rooms. Do a better job with the hot breakfast.
Location: Located near, but not too near, the Interstate, so it is easy to get-to. Not much to do in the immediate area, but there are parks and camping nearby.
Fairly new and clean place, with pleasant staff. My room was above some equipment that had a load power-hum that persisted all night. The walls were poorly insulated as I heard both neighbors all night. The included breakfast in the morning was poor (the hot eggs, sausages, and gravy tasted bad). Worst of all, there was NO WIFI in the rooms (at least, not one I could find). There was only a business desk with one terminal downstairs.

DishonestPosted Jul 15, 2012
I tried to check out a day earlier than planned, but was told that Expedia would charge my card for the unused day. So I stayed for the last day. Turns out the hotel itself does the charge to the card. So why couldn't I check out a day early without penalty? Dishonest.
