“close to campus, great sleep!”

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The pillows and beds were amazing! Service was excellent. We were in Madison to visit UW Madison and the front desk staff provided maps and dinner suggestions etc immediately.

“Excellent location”

This is an excellent location, and save for some smaller points, like outdoor, unsecured parking, it is an excellent choice for a stay near the capitol building.

“Great place to stay in downtown Madison/”

We stayed at the Doubletree for Ironman Wisconsin 2012. The entire experience was first rate. The staff was excellent had gave us some nice little touches like their famous cookies but also a breakfast to go box as we were checking out before 5 AM. The rooms were spotless, the beds very comfortable and the location very convenient to both State Street and the Capital. We definitely plan to stay here again.

Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Very close to events and food establishments.

“Met our needs”

The hotel was great for our needs. We were doing some shopping with another couple and the hotel is close to State Street. The guys were going to the Badger Hockey game that evening and the hotel is one block from the Kohl Center, PERFECT! The only complaint I have is that when we checked in we were told our rooms were right next to one another, but the other couples room was at the end of the hallway at least 10 doors down. Not a big deal, but next door to me means "the next door" not 10 away.

“Downtown”

Hotel was great in many facets. Free deluxe breakfast (eggs, bacon, oatmeal, etc), free water, chex mix, and gardettos in the room. Courteous staff and great amenities. Definitely would stay here again.

“Madison's Best for the Money!”

The bed was wonderful with lots of quality pillows. The little shampoos and soaps were of the highest quality. Room service was prompt and the food was great. The staff went overboard to accomodate me.

“Clean, Comfortable, Convenient”

Worked out especially well as base for family and guests coming for weekend for wedding in area. Staff very helpful and supportive. Good value for families: free parking, deluxe rooms get breakfast, indoor pool, can walk easily around Capital, university and lakes. Strongly recommend.

“Worth the cost”

The hotel overall was excellent. The room was clean, the pool was clean, the lobby was clean and inviting. Every staff member from the check in desk, custodians, waitressed were all extremely friendly and helpful. Definately get what you pay for.

“Campus Convenience”

This hotel is a great value to stay within walking distance of all of the UW-Madison campus activities. Excellent service and good amenities.
