Pillows

Cons: Pillows
Great price, Ok breakfast, helpful staff, clean rooms. They just need to do something about their tiny pillows.

Fit the Bill

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Location: Access is via a frontage road that runs parallel to a busy main road but stoplights made it easy. A LOT of food choices nearby (and a mall).
I arrived from out-of-town on a Monday evening. All I wanted was a clean place to sleep before an all-day Monday meeting. This room fit the bill.

Welcome respite on the way home

Posted Jan 13, 2015 on Hotels.com
We booked this hotel because of its location on the way home from St. Louis. We got a late start and did not arrive at the hotel until shortly before midnight. We really appreciated the fact that there was someone there to check us in with no delays. Staff members were helpful. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. The room was warmer than we like for sleeping, but it was possible to open the window so I cracked it open a little even though it was a cold night. Problem solved. (Sorry about wasting some heat energy.) The furnishings were minimal in the room, but again, not a problem under the circumstances. I could never complain about the cost because this was a free night from Hotels.com. The breakfast was what you would expect: better than some because you can make your own waffles. I would stay there again.

Great service and great breakfast!

Posted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: Staff was very helpful.
Cons: Thicker blankets for winter.
Location: Right across from a major mall.
We checked in late and the desk clerk changed our rooms so my elderly mother would not need to walk up a lot of stairs. The rooms were perfectly clean. Breakfast was great and the staff was constantly refilling food as it got empty.

Old-school hospitality

Posted Dec 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
We've been staying at this property for decades, through different owners and brands. The hotel is maintained in prime condition. All the staff are super-friendly and accommodating. Although we booked online, they had our requested rollaway bed in our room before we arrived. Breakfast was well-stocked, with a good selection of cold cereals and make-your-own waffles. A great place to rest and refresh while traveling through the north country.

Great for the price

It's obviously not a 5 star hotel, and you usually get what you pay for but I think this was better than what I paid for. Clean room, comfortable bed, new TV, large mini-fridge, newer toilet, clean shower. What more could you ask for for $55
