“Three plus”

Staff at front desk were really friendly and helpful. Our bed was okay but sure could use a foam topper or something. Alittle "thin". It was over a three but not a four star for us.

“wouldn't go anywhere else”

the hotel is clean and friendly staff. I stayed at two other hotels in the area and ran out. This is a quality establishment and they care about the satisfaction of their guests.

“OK, but not clean”

The staff was friendly and helpful. We got to breakfast a little late, and they didn't close it, and it was a decent spread. The room was ok, but a bit small. The hot tub was the problem. I paid a bit extra for a hot tub, and there were missing dials and mold around the dials. Other than that, the room was clean. The location is between a highway and a car dealership, so it doesn't have a great view. Overall, it was ok, but I'll probably stay somewhere else next time we go down there.

Area recommendations
Downtown Madison is a great place to visit with lots of shopping, etc. Clifty Falls state park has some wonderful views. There's a drive-in theater called the Bel Air just 20 - 30 miles north of there.
