Nice hotel close to Louisville.

Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: Bed was a little soft.
Location: Lots of eating places close.
Nice clean hotel. People were friendly. Had no complaints

The sleeper sofa was terrible & the staff admitted an upgrade is overdue.

Wow! Can't say enough about this little hotel. The HIE's are all a little pricey, but the service and value at this location make up for it. The staff was wonderful - friendly, courteous, helpful and considerate - the rooms were clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable with a good shower and bathroom. And the breakfast was actually quite good, also, which saved us the cost of having to make a stop. All in all, I would definitely come back when in the area.

The shower head in the rooms with the different settings are awesome. Our Express Start breakfast with the warm cinnamon rolls is a great way to start the day. Early bed time

I took a group of teenagers to the hotel for a one night stay. Upon arriving and being issued our key cards, we began to search for our rooms. We were immediately met by another guest in the hallway and issued stern and vulgar warnings to remain quiet. After finding our rooms and beginning to unpack, we were told we would be moving due to the guest calling and complaining about our lack of consideration. We did inform the staff who moved us of the incident and were moved further away. The facilities and staff were excellent and given the situation presented to them, the staff handled the problem effectively. We will stay at the facility again in the future and hope to avoid issues like the one above.

Good location

Pros: Desk help and breakfast.
Cons: Clean the room better and get rid of musty smell.
Location: It was close to my sister and had a number of places to eat.
I stayed here in July and was pleased with the stay but this time I was on the first floor and the room smelled musty and the carpet was not clean in the corners. I am not sure that the carpet was cleaned during my stay because there was a small piece of tissue on the floor that I had dropped and that was there during my stay. The people at the desk were helpful and pleasant and the breakfast was good. (Coffee was excellent.) I am not sure that I will stay there the next time I am down there.

Definitely not a newer Holiday Inn Express. It was fine, but I think the chain updates on a periodic basis and this location is due for an overhaul. Counter service hosts were super friendly.

Right off highway

Nice hotel. Great breakfast! Indoor pool and workout facility. No bathroom near pool and no fridge or microwave in the room. A little pricey, but comparable to other hotels in area.

Pros: Lots of pillows! Breakfast was good.
Cons: More power to the wifi!
I had to be in the area for a meeting on Saturday and decided to drive down a day early to get away from home and get some work done. I checked in early with the hopes of doing some research and planning in my hotel room. My room was on the second floor, not far from the lobby downstairs. Unfortunately, though, the wifi wouldn't reach to my room. I had both an iPhone and iPad with me and the only place I could get signal was standing right in front of the door. I complained at the front desk and was told that they would reset the routers. That didn't solve the problem, though. I got rest, which I guess I needed, but the main reason I checked in was to get some work done. If I was just looking for a bed I could have gone to a cheaper hotel.

Great Hotel Team!

I travel monthly - and this was a great stay! There were four of us on a micro-vacation. Nice, clean, quiet room. Housekeeper was generous with towels. Personable staff that went out of their way to accommodate. The hotel was extremely busy with carneys - wedding guests - I-65 road construction - and a athletic team, but the staff handled the chaos with efficiency and charm. We slept comfortably, and heard not a sound. The next morning the hotel looked like it had been ransacked by Spring Break and inconsiderate guests! The property was tidied in a short order...just in time for a wonderful breakfast! This hotel team can handle anything! Cons - Hours late getting us checked in...and Chlorine in pool area was quite breathtaking. A microwave in the service area would be a great addition. Be careful walking in the grass behind the hotel - impolite travelers with dogs left quite a mess of it - we encountered doggy poo.
