Poodle Praise

Pros: The kitchen made dining in so much more pleasant.
Cons: There's a minimum $50 fee for a dog. We stayed two one-night visits and paid $100. If we'd stayed a week it would have cost the same. A little pricey.
Location: Close to East Towne and freeway access, and very quiet.
My wife and I made Madison a stopover between Minneapolis and Cleveland, and we brought along our five-year old standard poodle, Juuno. This hotel was very accommodating, giving us a room close to the back door for easy access in and out to his "exercise" area (with plastic bags handy). They did this for us on both one-night stays coming and going ($50 fee). The room had everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay, including a kitchen. Engaged staff who really take care of you - very hands-on helpful. Juuno gives it two-thumbs up... if he had thumbs.

More than we expected!

The service was great- everyone was cheerful and helpful. Complimentary breakfast in the morning, and a taco bar social in the evening- wow! The free laundry facility was modern and clean. Some of the furniture was a bit worn, but still comfortable. The room was very clean, and it was terrific to have a full kitchen. Comfy beds, plenty of pillows, and lots of closet space were all nice touches. The equipment in the small exercise room was all up to date- and a good selection. We will look for this hotel chain again in the future.
