It has a 24 hour pool! good breakfast, decent.bed, great Christmas decorations, easy to locate, housekeeping in the morning was super quiet so we could sleep in a bit. :-)

Impressive and extra clean. None of the complacency of a chain hotel.

Solid "Three Star" score plus...Posted Oct 23, 2013
Our check-in was seamless/speedy. You are in a Western rural community in Madras, with very appropriate lobby decor...tastefully done. Quite spacious rooms, hallways, stairs. Elevator is an appreciated convenience. Staff genuinely friendly and greeted us with a smile and eye-to-eye contact...never to busy to be bothered. Our 60's vintage bodies found our bed above average in comfort and the pillows, if anything, overstuffed/over puffed (depends on your liking). Television and its remote functioning were very good. The breakfast menu our day there was very respectable with real waffles made fresh with their griddle, commendable biscuits-n-gravy, bagels, dry cereal, yogurt, very tasty muffins, juice, coffee, fruit cocktail, egg omelets made at your request. Parking spaces were large enough to accommodate my Chevrolet Avalanche pickup and the lot was well lighted. Because the Inn is on a slight hill, there is a view of the Mountains...due to this particular location, we felt safe and that our vehicle would also be safe. Appreciated having a covered area to unpack our vehicle and that there was a cart available to transport our things to our room. The only very minor fault that I could even find was that the aforementioned covered area could have been designed a little bigger...when we checked in at 8:00 PM, there were no other check-ins to possibly compete with.

The Motel is in a convenient location. The inside is impressive. The facilities are well kept. The morning breakfast could have used some fresh fruit. The parking is off to the side and quite a walk when your making several trips. I noticed several times the six slot for handicap parking were used by non handicapped. Perhaps it would be better to make a few spots non handicapped or enforce the handicap parking. I loved the pool/hot tub area, aw well as the fitness room. Our room was comfortable, though the bed was a bit too hard for me. The little red pillows sure made it easier to lay on the bed and read. The entire stay was very enjoyable.
